I'm looking to buy this bag in 2024. I want it as a travel tote replacing a Keepall 45. 45 is too big and gets heavy. I remember this bag from 2006? I always liked the style.
I'm gonna get my first louis in couple of days. It was made in France, so i've been waiting forever for this! Only concern is that it was made in June 2011. The SA said they received it few months ago. I'm just afraid if people have used it and returned it, etc. I'm wondering, are all new LV bags wrapped in blue tape? Like the handles, locks, zippers, etc to prevent scratches? I don't want to buy it if it is used with scratches.. =\
@luverboi00 Yes, the date code means where the bag was made and the month and year in which it was made . so this date code should be made in Spain in the 9th week 2005. Let me guess , is this a bosphore on the Bonanza website?
This is my next purchase! A lot of the ones online are from Spain but I want France. I found one made in France with a missing strap :( I have a replacement monogram crossbody strap but I think it would fit weird with it not being a d ring. Btw I don’t think I heard u mention the price? Hm did you purchase this for! ThNks
@subarianEra If you are buying a Louis Vuitton from a Louis Vuitton authentic store it will be authentic.I have never seen one all completley wrapped up, as they don't usually show them like that but, they do have blue celephane on the hardware. Check the bag over ALWAYS!!!!! As for the date ...you will know exactly when it was made. I would buy a 2011 made in France bag over any 2012 not made in France bag anyday ..Hope this helps you ^,,^

I just purchased the Monogram Porte Documents Voyage Briefcase and an Azur Zippy wallet from Ebay and I took your advice regarding the return policy, I was really fortunate because they were practically new. You gave me the courage to do Ebay because of your two great finds. But I still love the store experience...in fact, I'm headed there Sat...lol.
Hi,love the video & bag so much I searched & waited & brought pre-loved one.Strap was missing so called LV who said I have to go to their store to source a replacement.Cut long story short,travelled 2 hours,went in,was asked if I brought it from LV being the honest person I am said no & the assistant looked at me like I was inferior & proceeded to say no longer stock replacements.I think she decided she wasn't going to help me.Feel gutted.Do u know if this is the case?!Any help appreciated xx

@Sandoulaa Hi Sandy, I got lucky on this one ;) Just make sure they have high possitive feedback with a good track rating like 99% or higher. Maybe try buying from a top rated seller. Also look at the ebay buyer protection it's free. Cheers Katt

Many years ago they did authentication in stores, but not anymore. :(

Did you check when this video was uploaded? It was 2012 when LV stores actually did authentications if you took your preloved item there.
