      It must be hard to be honest. I understand them, I cannot bargain like that cuz it just makes me feel bad 😕...my face cringes everytime they give him a discount and he asks for more.

    • @ahmedkamalhasin2070
      @ahmedkamalhasin2070 2 года назад +19

      @@ChelitoAlonzo Well tbh most shops like this ask quite high initial price. Because they know customers are gonna bargain so they start with a high margin. Keep in mind even after selling the glasses for 1500 which they asked 2500 for initially, surely they still made some profit. And from what I've seen, Luke only bargains in shops that are like in good establishments, so assuming they are doing quite well for themselves. He generally pays extra to most street vendors and seemingly poor sellers.

    Wow, an hour long video! Excellent 😁 Just to point out, the funky taste in the sugarcane juice is coming from the black salt. Black salt has a sulphur taste to it.

    Sugar cane is where the sugar in your coffee or tea comes from.
    The funky smell is most likely due to the kala nimak (black salt) which contains sulfides.

    Those things on strings that you see alot are traditionally sun dried figs. One of the delicacies enjoyed in winters.
    Sugar cane juice is yellow. It's greener, when taza podina(fresh mint) is added to it. Sometimes people like adding black salt and a squeeze of lemon in it too.

    25:14 - those are dried figs, popular during the winter.
