I play this game for more than 2 years now, and I'm still amazed to discover new depths in its gameplay. I wonder how many tips I'm still missing in this game... Thank you very much for sharing this knowledge, your tutorials are really clean and helpful as always.
Thank you so much for this video! Recently I've really started analyzing pro matches instead of watching them for fun and just occasionally learning stuff, and the very first one I saw Wawa use this technique and the only thing I could find about it was LordKnight's guide which only said when to use it, but not how. Edit: Also thank you for clarifying that people aren't actually dashing out of the corner like commentators say I was actually wondering if there was a technique similar to this but with dashing that I had to learn
Thank you for this video. Seeing you set the training setups really helps a lot for a noob like me. I am never sure what to practice and how. And this is great!! Thank you!
Funny enough this is something I already knew about. Learned about it by watching GO1 do it a lot during tournament matches. This is one of my favorite things to do when I'm on the defensive, and it makes you feel really smart when it works and probably does some mental damage to your opponent when they find themselves getting combo'd for what they thought was a gapless string. I definitely don't recommend trying this on anyone playing any of the Goku's or Bardock though. Their IAD buttons are more often then not meaty & gapless so you're just going to have to block those.
Hey I just want to say thanks, before watching your vids I had like 300 games and only 20 wins (ya I was pretty bad). But I started watching your videos and within a week that had shot up a lot, so thanks. And dont feel pressured, school does infact come first
I re-watched that match a Rynge understood immediately what happened too. Makes me feel bad for saying that a lot of commentators get this wrong at a high level ;_;
Can you do a video on how to escape the corner while being in air ? I know it’s probably character dependent but when you do not have bardock’s lariat what do I do ? Super dash ? Calling assist ? Air dash ? Vanish ? Thanks a lot if you do this cause it’s really frustrating in game.
Airdash is not a bad option at all. Vanish and superdash are more punishable. Calling an assist can be effective if its a dp assist, or a fast strike assist like bardock or yamcha
It's definitely a smaller gap. Additionally, even when you have a large enough gap for your 2H's upper body invincibility to kick in, the opponent might still land in time and be able to block. Both options are good for different reasons, like 2H also beating same-side superdash
Unfortunately, the upper body invincibility on 2H doesn't start up on the first frame... so if the gap isn't big enough, the 2H will get hit on startup. Additionally, I don't think 2Hing on reaction to an instant airdash is easy (or even possible at all in some cases), so it's usually used as a guess instead of a reaction. The benefit of doing the walkout (or using another reaction option like simply blocking normally or using reflect) is that you don't have to take on the extra risk of gambling as a guess. This is my thought process anyway. There's different benefits to each option so use what works best for you! Hope this helps
@@RathFGC didn't know about the late upper body invincibility. In theory, while crouching, 2Hing an IAD is just one button, but i understand your opinion. Also, maybe IAD to low L will beat 2H many times. I will try your option next time ! Thanks for replying and for posting this !
Lol this a good mind fuck tool to get in the attackers skin. He/she is going to wonder why he/she keeps landing on the other side until they finally stop air dash
@@dio8914 because the airdash would land them behind you? you wouldn't anti air? i know some larger characters like broly would still connect if the timing is right
@@semja I'm trying to say if they airdash at you and attack if you try to defend with 2h it wouldn't come out and you would get hit. Which is why it is better to Microdash out of the corner
I think it's okay to teach concepts, regardless of how long some people have known about them. Everyone learns differently too, so I think it's a good thing to have several people cover the same topics as well.
I really don't think the clickbait-style titles suit the theme of your channel. I know they're mostly a joke, but I still don't think it's a good look :\
I get what you mean, but unfortunately titles and thumbnails are incredibly important when it comes to fitting into the youtube algorithm. I dislike having to play that "game" but I figured I'd at least try to have fun with it and make myself laugh sometimes.
@@RathFGC Totally understand having to play the game. Just wanted to give my feedback. Regardless the videos are great and informative, keep up the great work
This is exactly what the community needs right now. More tech, strats, and tutorials. We understand, keep it up!
No we need more 7 bar TOD videos.
Just wait till people ragequit on you for doing this trick cuz they don't understand what's going on

Super glad i found this. My boy had me locked down in the corner HELLA cold last night. Relying on vanish or reflect ain't it lol
same!
Same here. I got washed today and was feeling salty about not being able to defend the corner pressure.
Yet another great informative video. You're a blessing to the community keep it up man.

There’s a gap so you could reflect ? How many frames is needed to walk out the corner ?
1 frame. walking has no startup.
Reflect starts at first frame too I thought

Walk out of there with style ye that’s it
Just a question. If there is a small gap, why don't you just react with 2H ? ( and make a safe special cancel if they block hit ).
Unfortunately, the upper body invincibility on 2H doesn't start up on the first frame... so if the gap isn't big enough, the 2H will get hit on startup. i cant remember the last time i got a cell as enemy... all i see is bardock or vegeto and gt kogu + yamcha or Zbroly
Cool! Thanks for this!

Idk bout you, but I can say as an Adult Gohan player, that I have a universal answer of this.
It’s called a DP.
Qcf+L/M/H is invincible 😎
Why not just guard cancel if you can't vanish or reflect?? Nice tech though!
So THIS is why they mash?! I've been mistaking high tier tech with scrubbiness all this time?!
Great tip!
Nice 👍
Can dbz broly get out of corners using that?
*Question: Is it possible to do this versus the universal fuzzy setup?*
It won't work versus the universal fuzzy, since there won't be a gap to let you walk below the opponent
Why cell in the thumbnail casually meandering out of the corner
Could you please go over the Dash under OS on oki?
But if they do Instant air dash Mediums, i wouldn't work right
It depends on the character doing the Airdash medium.
@@LuhGren like Goku Black 18 and Bardock
Nah cell is doing airdash medium in the examples and he's still walking out
@@094176 but that only hit in front.

Dermatologists hate this ONE trick!!!
FIND OUT HOW HE DID IT!!
Does this work against fuzzy?
nope. This is specifically an option to be used as a reaction to instant airdash overhead mixup

easy just dissconect thats what i do im never in the corner

Block until you get an opening then instant transmission or reflect (need God tier timing) or spark ⚡️
