I would say there is nothing wrong with the early morning prayer. Jesus himself prayed early in the morning and showed the role model to us. It is good to give the first place to God. Through prayer we are communicating to God. But I agree what we ask in the prayer is also important. Please don’t mock the prayers. There are many Bible verses which show the importance and power of prayer.
