    I think he's one of the most impressive lifters to ever press 700 lbs. No leg drive, No arch, yet he manages to do it. What an incredible athlete. RIP sir.

      @Waldel Martell Without a doubt he was an amazing bencher and a true inspiration. But, he never pressed 700 pounds or more in competition. That's just a fact.

      @@KillianDefaoite he's stalling it at his chest. He's not using 6inches of fat springboarding it up like the current record holder. Go lift once and see how hard that is without momentum. Oh and his legs are missing.

      If he had working legs maybe he wouldn't have been a powerlifter at all. You see, different types of inferiority works as catalyst for compensation. This how most champions are born.

      @littlethuggie 3 года назад +3

      Any statement, especially regarding the "best" at anything, is completely void and useless when it starts with "if". If he had legs he might have been the best; he might not; he might not have lifted at all. Pointless to make comparisons with things that aren't comparable/testable.

    • @blublublublublublublubl5476
      @blublublublublublublubl5476 3 года назад

      @@littlethuggie Except that even without legs he still has one of the highest benches of all time disabled or not with a 705 raw bench in training.Leg drive is an automatic 30+ on the bench and that’s pretty much Julius Maddox levels of strong.I see what you’re saying,but when a disabled person benches just as much as the top valid lifters,it’s safe to say he would’ve been the best.
