  • Lady Gaga came to prominence in 2008 following the release of her debut album The Fame, which sold over 15 million copies worldwide. Her third studio album, Born This Way, broke the iTunes record for the fastest rise to the #1 on release day. Beyond her talent as an artist, Lady Gaga is a global activist and philanthropist, having been an outspoken supporter of many important issues including LGBT rights and HIV/AIDS awareness. In 2011, she launched her own Born This Way Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering youth and creating a kinder and braver world. John Norris of Fuse sits down with Lady Gaga for an intimate conversation with this unstoppable force.

This is the greatest interview Gaga's ever done. When she talks about art and music and creative rebellion as she did here, that's where it touches me most. Everything she said here was undoubtedly true; every artist, regardless of who they are or what they do, experiences some of the same roadblocks in their career. And when society tries to control who we are and how we create, we must rebel and try to spread as much passion as we can. Society shouldn't shape us; WE should shape society

I can’t stress how she is the most intelligent popstar out there in the world. So down to earth, so humble, and she exposed loads of truths in this UNDERRATED music interview. With courage.

Wow... this interview is one of the bests of her career
    She's just speaking facts.
ARTPOP could've done better if wasn't for the haters. Like, 2 million coppies at that time it wasn't a flop for "average" singers, but for the level that gaga was after Born This Way it was, and a big one. And to elevate the tragedy, many other facts increased her so called flop:
    - The week before the release of the album, she broke with her producer, because of creative disagrees
    - She didn't promote the album well, again, because of her producer. So we had only two music videos
But despite the numbers, ARTPOP is one of the best albums in her career. Both musically and lyrically.
And next year will be the tenth anniversary of the album, so we hope that we will finally get our hands to the ARTPOP ACT II

    • @milana223

I think the general public's opinion on GaGa is so interesting. I feel as though underneath it all, most everyone really does acknowledge GaGa's immense talent in some way. She wouldn't be given all of these opportunities (first woman to sing in space, keynote speeches, Roseland) etc. I think that in the future, looking back, she'll be given her adequate praises, because I truly believe she's responsible for so much of the evolution of our pop culture- more than a lot of people want to admit.

BE BEAUTIFUL, HAVE ABS! BE A HANDSOME! Yes; I will agree that her "vomit art" was a little over the top, but that's what all artists do, they take something that is different, and make it so they will be remembered. Lady Gaga is no longer under any control in the music industry. Shes rebelled way too hard after Bad Romance and Born This Way, shes spent millions on security protocols so the elite don't assasinate her, spent loads of money and time producing and directing her own music videos. The illuminati or whatever lost this war, interscope cant afford to have her just quit the commercial music industry, because she'll make all the money instead f them. Interscope pretty much gets to sit back and watch her do her thing. Interscope/Streamline can't do a thing about it anymore. Sure, ARTPOP didnt sell a whole lot of copies but at least she doesnt care. The whole ARTPOP era really has shown who her friends are and who isnt. I wouldnt be suprised if theres a bulletproof vest behind her costumes when possible. I hope she doesn't push them too far like Michael Jackson did. Cheek to cheek was also a big middle finger to the pop industry too.
