i know you didn't direct your question to me, but i kind of wanted to answer it, so i hope you don't mind.
well, do you know what it's like to have some really good friends that you love to hang out with? that's kind of what 5sos fans feel about the band. they're just the type of people that i'd personally like to hang out with; they like to have a good laugh and be silly, they are very kind, and they're just... them. these boys are all different, but they each act like any other normal human being. they have inside jokes, they fight with each other, and share my problems, and that's what lots of fans like about them. they are very down to earth, and some of their fans have been there for them ever since they started their youtube channel. what got me into this fandom was their music, but i soon learned that they are all very funny and they're good people. they have good music, yes, but i feel like i have an emotional bond with them. it sounds crazy, but it's true, and it's a bit hard to explain. they make me laugh, they support me, and they care about me and love me, even if they don't know me. so, to answer your question, most fans are attracted to them because of their personalities. it just kind of clicked, you know? I'd just liked to say I love how Calum deals with situations. He keeps it real, doesn't make excuses and if he was wrong he'd apologize. He gets too much crap and I think it's bull. He doesn't let anyone change what he thinks or feel and that's awesome. I love him lol

They should of not mentioned Calum's nudes, yea he did cope with it really well, but when they have the threat of there record label dropping them and it's a interview where more people can see, it's just not right.

***** there record label is Capitol records and there mangment is modest and yes they did threaten to drop them and mamgment freaked out... So calum admitted to it and said he was still just a teen and then after it all kinda calmed down then the record label told them they got "lucky"
trust me no label in the right mind would drop them, and all press is good press his nudes probably boosted their album sales
Diego Avilez actually we lost a lot of fans (mostly like the younger ones) but you would be suprised... But even if they did get dropped they would get a new record label fast... And your right that's why they didn't drop them bc there smarter than that...
