I love that you include your son in your hobbies. That is super cool. Gotta pass down that sweet 80s and 90s nostalgia! He will like those decades even more than his own childhood, and rightfully so! Haha. Great video duder!
It was worth putting some of the other stuff back to pick up that power rangers toy for your son. Seeing your kids excitement over it is the best feeling as a dad. Respect Rick
Dude seeing your kid lose his $hit over that ultrazord is what it's all about. Glad you could find it for a reasonable price and hopefully it's not too big of a fix.
Retro Rick always taking us on the journey to great toy stores. That store looks amazing. So much childhood memories at that place. I wish I could have saw more. These stores are hidden gems. I appreciate the footage. Amazing pickups. Looking forward to the next video.
I have wanted that Ewok VHS for awhile. So much cool stuff there. I would have gotten lots of the same stuff. I’m so glad you included your sons reaction. That was my favourite part.
really liked that Power Rangers piece. It's crazy these things were expensive when we were kids and you'd hear when you're an adult you can buy stuff like that. Now that we are adults it costs more than then when we kids.
19:15 ugh, those rotten dogs lol. I remember for my eleventh birthday my parents bought me a bunch of the original ‘mega blocks DRAGONS’ play sets, including Three of the dragons themselves. I was SO EXITED, I remember playing with them all day and all night, right up until the last minutes before bed time. I them woke up the next morning and ran to the family room where I had left the mega blocks to find the the play sets shattered and slobbered, and my favorite dragon, the blue one, chewed to ribbons…my dog, a year and a half old black lab named Astro, had struck again 😫.
I've watched every single one of your videos Rick! And I've started my own retro collection including ninja turtles, power rangers, and 8 gaming consoles! You're an awesome dude. thank you for the hours of entertainment and invaluable tips on flipping and collecting.
On the Titanus. The issue is most likely rusty corrosion on the battery contact pads. All you may have to do is clean away some of that rusty corrosion to get a clean metal to metal contact with the batteries and it should hopefully work. All you'll need is some Q-Tips with a corrosion cleaning chemical. You can find youtube videos about various ways of cleaning it. Most of them use white vinegar to melt away much of the corrosion. Some of them also use a mix of baking soda and water to make a paste to scrub it away. I hope this helps.
omg cuteness overload when u revealed that to your wee boy xxx great find and lovin the t-shirt rick rad x battlecat was right next to it in cabinet my alltime fav toy from he-man xx cant wait til next vid thanku for the content x
Nice pickups I got a tmnt 1989 party wagon from my local thrift today for 5.99 only missing the side door seat thing but I’ll just order one I’ll have to make a RUclips video showing off my collection one day because we literally collect the same stuff.
I cant get enough of your channel Rick. I love your content, it keeps inspiring me to keep on searching and finding things for my collection and my channel. Thanks for the entertainment.
Man Rick that was an awesome video. That store had everything. Sometime you should do a updated gameroom/toy room tour of all the awesome stuff you’ve acquired.
I’ve never wanted to jump through the screen and be in a place more haha. I was just saying over and over to myself while looking through this store “I want that, i want that, I want that” Great job as always !
If you like earthworm Jim you would have liked the painting I made and gave away on the channel last year :) Genesis love in this video! And Snes! So much variety! Major dad points! Thats what it’s all about as a parent. Putting the little’s first ❤️
The best toy flip/90's treasure I've ever done (you'll definitely appreciate this), a genuine SEGAWorld Sally Acorn hand puppet from the 90's! Found on Facebook Marketplace in a bundle of soft toys! Got 5 items (including the puppet of course) for $30, I essentially got her for $7.50, sold her for...$1,000AUD! She was in immaculate condition, basically brand new, just missing the swing tag! Absolutely insane.
Favorite thing that you purchased the Titanus. Actually had it along with the Megazord and Dragonzord. Not sure what I did with them but now I wish I still had all of them
I use nails to hang up in box toys except for the ones that don't have the hooks for them i stack 'em like steps. Love the video all those old feelings came rushing back gotta love nostalgia. If the originals are too pricey they've remade old toys at a more reasonable price depending on what store you shop at and what website you buy from. I hope that helps retro! I loved seing the Teddy Ruxpin i had that talking Teddy Ruxpin bear when i was a child.
Awesome vlog! My son would love that store, I just thrifted a case with 2 gameboy advance , red and silver and a bunch of games for 10.00 was exciting.
At 7:04 you should have grabbed that white Game Genie codebook. The Game Genie was released by Camerica for release in Canada. Then Galoob got the rights for release here in the USA. The white Camerica Game Genie codebook is exceptionally rare and would have made a great addition to your ongoing collection.
Never played Dino City, but you had me at Dinos. All the Indian Jones, Jurassic Park and Star Trek magnets! Alien, Dinosaurs Attacks (never heard of it) and Indiana Jones cards for sure!
I love it how your kid react to the toy! My 3 year old daughter loves tmnt and i'm not sure when will be the right time to buy her tmnt toys because i'm scare, as a 3 year old, they might lose interest on toys quick...i think this made me feel confident to get her tmnt toys this Christmas =)
Been to hyperspace a couple of times when I’ve been in Pensacola. Cool store and the recently moved to a bigger location down the road from the old spot .
6:20 the real pinball game by Stern which I actually quite like was released a year before the PS1 game, so might make some sense to do a videogame version too, although they're different games .. maybe they had some extra game design elements / callout recordings that didn't go in the real one
I saw a “super powers” penguin in the cheap toy bin. I’ve always liked it, and I found it funny that that’s the toy model they reused for the “Batman Returns” Penguin, because the actual movie character was too grotesque to make into a children’s toy
Brother. I had no idea you came to Pensacola last year. Come back soon man. We've got a ton of places to hunt for games and toys. We even got a goodwill and dirt cheap.
Rick! You’ve gotta get Tom Sawyer on NES! It’s such a hidden gem on that console that I grew up with as a kid! It’s a side scroller that also turns into a vertical shooter! It’s amazing and I really don’t hear many RUclipsrs talk about it!
Rick you MUST make a shirt with you on the front lifting up that power ranger shouting, "It's for my son!!!" I'll buy it! Do it! :) IT'S FOR MY SON!!!! Good times.
The Ewok vhs is actually a cartoon show. I actually own the one u have with the same cover growing up. It was the very first Star Wars thing I ever had 📼
No way.. this makes me gutted that i abandoned my megazords as i grew up 😣 bet your power ranger collection is amazing 🤩 you need a up to date video of your back wall
As a huge Earthworm Jim fan I definitely would have picked up Princess What’s her name. I’m curious if it was a Playmates or a Replay. Though I doubt you’d have remembered.
I gotta wonder how Ive made it this far in life without a Battletoads belt buckle. I forgot all about that Ewoks cartoon. I actually grabbed one of those Power Plugs for about $5 recently. I haven’t tried it out yet. Cool grail find too! That ices the cake, doesn’t it?
16:05 Although I"m largely an out of box figure collector, the boxes I do have, I tend to display on the wall using a thumbnail by putting the tack through the wall and the punch-hole resting on it. However, if it is unpunched, I'll have it sit on a shelf -- all of these unopned boxed figures are in box protectors
It's awesome that you are into the same things I am that bring back those special memories because I believe I'm a little older I heard you say in one of your videos that when you get a bit down you watch Pee-wee's big adventure I totally do the same thing and Back to the future is one of my favorites also shopping for a autographed movie poster for Back to the future right now as the actors are getting older want to grab one before they get to expensive like the Starwars has done love the channel Rick 👍
Had a blast game and toy hunting with you homie!
GO SUBSCRIBE TO THIS MANS CHANNEL!!!!

@@retrorick his reaction was also really cute, i guess we can expected a future Retrotoyshunter ;)
I have wanted that Ewok VHS for awhile. So much cool stuff there. I would have gotten lots of the same stuff. I’m so glad you included your sons reaction. That was my favourite part.
So cool to see a little guy get so excited over the junk that we got excited for!
oh man, thats what its all about, its crazy to think that this is what is creating nostalgia memories for him now!
Love your sons reaction Rick!! Nothing better than seeing kids enjoy toys!
really liked that Power Rangers piece. It's crazy these things were expensive when we were kids and you'd hear when you're an adult you can buy stuff like that. Now that we are adults it costs more than then when we kids.

Good job! Currently at 200 consoles myself
heck yes...so glad you are enjoying the videos Tim!
@@serious409 holy crap...that is wild!
@@retrorick it’s bad. I need to pay someone to eBay them for me. It’s years of yard sale neglect.

My Great-grandmother loved the ewok cartoon series. I still have the stuffed Kneesa and Wicket she owned in the 80's.

Awesome fully assembled shot complete with the power Rangers background. Great find thanks for sharing.
Push pin then hang the boxed figuer from the hand tab!
These videos are so dope it takes me back to my childhood for sure...I need to find these type of stores in Southern California
Great video as always bro. Love the editing and sound design !
thank you my friend...always appreciate you watching!
These are all reasonable prices!! Shouts out to the owner of the shop for not gouging.
Omg... ULTRAZORD! I am so jelly! I've wanted for for years!

Retro Rick!!!!! You single handedly go me into collecting.. Ty sir
Seeing the Big Trouble In Little Cina magnet brought back memories. Probably seen it fifty times maybe even more growing up
haha its a great one!!
I use push pins on the walls and display my mint in box figures. I also have a row of Fast and the furious Hot Wheels on the wall next to my closet.
ahh that makes sense...thank you for that!
Dude ! Your in my back yard ! He just moved this store to a bigger location and it’s even better now . Make sure and come back to check it out .

How did you miss the OUTTATIME magnet!!?? I was screaming at my phone for you to see it LOL. Love the videos Rick, keep up the great content!
Man Rick that was an awesome video. That store had everything. Sometime you should do a updated gameroom/toy room tour of all the awesome stuff you’ve acquired.
I try and get either loose toys or toys in boxes that I can put back in. I like having them on display on a shelf.
I’ve never wanted to jump through the screen and be in a place more haha. I was just saying over and over to myself while looking through this store “I want that, i want that, I want that”

My in box toys I don't display them, I keep them in a plastic bin in the closet. It keeps my daughters from opening them up.
All the sweet retro goodness is off the chain
I have all my action figures displayed as a western on the BraveStarr fort. And my Turtles are on a shelf behind the TMNT 1 up cabinet.
