      right they should really find a good source of loose leaf. also did you see all the jars the scoby grows as big as the container so why wouldnt they just get perm tanks instead of bottleing 300 000 (or w.e the number they est.) 1/2 gallon glass jars. seems excessive

      @@TheGoldenCulture Maybe the bigger tanks/jars are too heavy to handle with the procedure they have. I brew 6-7 lts weekly in one huge jar, and at times it is kinda taxing lol

      @@M33TM3DUD3 True id say you could do what most do with infinity Komucha where they just add and never really take out and have a drain near the bottom but i could see that behind difficult too. i got 2 1 gallon jars. was actually just making a batch now haha. but yea i could see how.

      The problem i see with Continuous Brewing is the inconsistency of the batches. Can be very interesting when homebrewing, but i guess doesn't cut it for industrial grade

    I love their lavender "CHILL" I drink it literally when my gut microbiome is wrecked from alcohol and it literally cures most of my ailments. I love, love, LOVE IT!

    why is everyone bashing on them? personally i love the taste, and i know it’s not for everyone, but y’all are acting like it tastes like toenail sauce or smthn. and they have to use tea bags as a law btw

    why is everyone so negative? Thank God for this company and their amazing flavors of Kombucha, I can now ease my indigestion much more easily and healthily. definitely no more soda carbonation for me. Kombucha has also helped me immediately if I’m feeling nauseous or feel like vomiting, I drink one of these and the gross feeling is gone 😍

    they were handing these out for free at my mom's hospital, whos a nurse, as a way to thank her for her work during this corona pandemic. mom brought home half of the one she was given and i tried it and it tasted goood. support their product and appreciate their support!

    Kombucha is so good when it's fresh.. I stopped drinking a lot of soda for at least a year and been drinking kombucha occasionally. It's very fizzy and nice. I recommend the synergy brand :)

      @@libertyordeath9936 you can die if you're a real dumbass. It's not hard to tell if a batch is bad: there will be radical colors of mold like red or blue. And of course of you want to be really careful you can run tests on the final product.

      Yeah, I’ve tried the commercial bottled brands because I really enjoyed the homemade stuff back in Russia( which to my mind has a sparkling apple cider tang to it) and have been dissatisfied with every single shop brought sample. I don’t think it travels well because the bottled stuff tastes old and like homemade stuff would if we used an old mushroom and let it sit

    As a homebrewer/home fermenter, I am pretty surprised that they do some things the same way on such a large scale...namely that they still use individual tea bags and also that they use 300,000 individual jars

      Yeah, but very meager amount of alcohol because of the fermentation process. It's legal for those under 21 to buy and consume because it has so little alcohol that a toddler couldn't even get drunk from it.

      If you ever open a tea bag you'll see how processed it is. It's the worst cuts of the tea leaf. Not only that, but tea bags by weight are far more expensive than loose leaf.
      If Kombucha manufacturers used loose leaf tea they could easily utilise the used tea leaves for other projects like compost.

      @@jonchambers8864 What kind of argument is that. Millions and millions of soda and alcohol bottles are made, and they are poison. I think they must have a deal with a tea provider who uses teabags. With all that machines you would think they'd have a strainer for loose leaves lol

    Had me until the vitamin B-12 was mentioned, cyanocobalamin is its other name. This is product harvested from raw sewage plants , it comes from the foam that you see floating on top of the water in the water treatment facilities. This is also used in most energy drinks as well.

    Iv made no alcohol ginger beer it’s different because it’s used yeast and sugar but the fermentation is the same don’t leave it for too long otherwise it becomes a craft alcohol drink.
