- Welcome to a special Big Trip video! In this video features a day out full of fun, emotion, memories and a LOT of travelling! Welcome onboard the Flying Banana, a railtour dedicated to saying a final goodbye to the full length GWR HSTs as they finally go out of service from Paddington and express routes out of there. This was a mammoth journey, going from point to point, pillar to post, signal to station as the route covers an extensive amount of track and has a lot of scenery.
The power cars on show were 43002 and 43198 and for those that remember that far back, 43198 featured in my Pembroke Dock video diary from 2017 and 002 has featured in many many videos in the past! This video tells a full story of the day out on 1st June 2019 and won't be forgotten, this will archive and can be looked back on hopefully for generations to come. Certainly a one of a kind day out and who knows, could be repeated somewhere else with someone else, but you never know on that.
Hope you enjoy watching this, a massive thank you to everyone at Great Western Railway for looking after us, ensuring our safety and for organising the entire event, I had so much fun and I'm sure so many others did too!
Next Video: Trains at Barking, LTSR + GL

For a special train ride you would have thought they would have had the windows cleaned before they set out on this mammoth journey.
Very hard to do that when a lot of it is tainted and stained, no train window is clean like that either.
I couldn’t see it because the time would be really late as I’m closer to the Paddington to Plymouth I’m a bit far away from Wales and Worcester area I could of watched it on Dawlish beach cam but I missed I watched Flying Scotsman instead
Nice
Great Video saw this at Worcester shrub hill

@@KTVTransport yeah lol we drove to Hereford, briefly came home to the west mids and then drove all the way to Severn Tunnel jcn
@@KTVTransport you could see the railtour for miles way past caldicot from Severn Tunnel jcn, the track is so straight!
You didn't say how much the ticket cost. I had thought you might.
Why would I say that?
It would be interesting to know. Wouldn't you want to know if you were a viewer? If your answer is no I'd be interested in knowing why.
I suppose so, the adult tickets were £148 for me, child tickets I believe were £79.
@@KTVTransport woah
