A "Non-Traditional" Path: Maisha's Story

As a child, Maisha lived in a small, leaky home, making him seriously ill. Without medical help, food or the funds needed for home repairs, Maisha had little hope. But after he was enrolled in the Compassion program, he found his passion for working with his hands. Taking a non-traditional educational path, Maisha became a mason with a strong mind, working to release himself, his family and his community from poverty.
