This was a cool video Ash
Im also wondering if the cookies you made from about 7 mins to 9 mins that are shaped like ice cream scoops can you share that recipe by chance ?
I have different days for baking and decorating. Depending on the amount of orders. Especially since I do bulk baking on my days off and then assemble cakes and decorating the day the order is due.
It’s the way to go!! 🥰
Please do more videos like this! I have a 14 month old and balancing baking and a running toddler is a challenge. I love seeing how you manage it
Thank you so much for the recommendation! You got this, Mama!
OMG!! I just love watching your videos! You drop so many useful Gems and it’s nice to see that my struggles are things you’ve dealt with too! I’m a mom of 3 girls and a wife and I know how those long days/ nights are when baking!
Aw thanks, Victoria! 3 girls-wow!! Do they enjoy baking as well? My daughter enjoys it...my son so far only enjoys eating it 😂. I’ll give him a few more years though!
I just started my home bakery with a ten month old!!! I have been really appreciating your videos. Thank you!
Good for you!! I wish you all the success in your baking business 💕🥰🍰🍪
It is very stressful to do it all the same day so I would always separate the days unless I really have to... its nice to know someone else does that too thought I was alone lol
It definitely can get stressful!! 🥰💕
You are a real rolling stone! Hats off to you!🤗
Thanks so much, Ruchelle!
I need that recipe holder. 🥰😍. Most frequently used recipes have some vanilla stains or chocolate 😂. This would save them.
Yes! And I normally put the slipcover on my recipes too. When I use digital ones...my device is covered in cornstarch most of the time 😂
I was thinking the exact same thing!! I need one in my life!! And my phone is a hot mess during baking as well!! 🤣
@@VictoriaWilliams-qs4uq I stopped using my phone after a time where my phone fell in the dry ingredients. 🙈 Luckily it was safe. I can’t imagine what it would have been like if it would have fallen into the milk or eggs. 😫 Now all recipes are printed.
I like to bake and decorate on separate days. I'm a mom of two as well, they are a little older than your two but they still demand attention.
Also, I just found this channel and this video was upload on my birthday!😁😁
Good Morning, This is my first comment i think on anyones videos as im not very tech savvy. I just wanted to say that I have a (very) small home bakery business in the UK. I've been baking since I could walk but baking for paying customers for around 3 years.
Anyway, I just wanted to say your videos have and still are helping me greatly!!
I just wish I'd found you a few years ago.
Thank you!!
Jemma x
Thank you so much for the comment, Jemma!! What kinds of things do you make at your bakery?
Those cookies look so yum!!!!
They are! 😋
Hi! New to your channel and loving it! Would it be possible to share your snickerdoodle recipe? They look AMAZING and it's my son's favorite cookie.
Those cookies are beautiful!!!!
Thank you! 💕
Can you please share the Snickerdoodle Recipe with us. TFS your new friend from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
This was excellent! Love how you went through your day and how real you were about time management. Do you freeze your dough in between mixing up the batches and baking? or refrigerate? And how long do you let them come to temp before popping them in the oven?
I didn’t freeze them this time. Just refrigeration, but you could totally freeze them. If I had put them in the freezer I don’t bother thawing-just pop them right in! 🥰
Plz show the oven you use. How many cookies can you bake at one time
Thank you!! :)
Did you get any response?
Look great for baking much sweet 😋😍🙏🏻❤️
For the love of baking haha🥰
💕🥰
I love your videos 😍 could you please share the cookies recipes ?
I think I have them somewhere on this channel--the chocolate chip cookie one you can definitely find!
I have a question
I am starting a new home baker business. I am having doubts about what kind of oven should I get.
I am doing this in a separate house I used as my office, I don’t have an stove or oven so the plan is to buy a new one.
Thank you
Def try n separate..can become over whelming if all on the same day especially if there big orders
Agreed!! 🥰
Do you have your own receipes.
Do you use double strength vanilla? If not, you should check into Savory Spice Shop. I absolutely LOVE the double vanilla!
Ooooo DONE I will check it out
How do you pack your cookies?
Please do let me know. Thanks 😘
I package them in a variety of ways, but generally just in a plain bakery box with parchment paper. If cellophane is requested then I wrap them that way. Occasionally I heat seal as well!
Very delicious my dear friend
☺️
Very informative, where did you get the recipe stand?
Someone gifted it to me years ago!
I just made a batch of chocolate chip cookies and they flopped big time. I'm not sure what went wrong. 😢
Oh darn! What happened to them?
Love me some homemade sweets.
😋
Hi dear Ashley
I have a little bit of personal question to ask. Allow me to voice it😊
During the initial stage of your channel launch, your first dozen video upload, how were your views? Did you ever feel like ending your channel just because you had no views?
Could you tell me how you managed staying afloat and then finally had views coming up, please?
I would be so happy to have a reply from you, dear Ashley.
Your fan❤
I think because I started this as purely for fun it was really easy not to get bogged down by numbers! I have a full time job so I didn’t need to worry if this never made me a dime. My first 100 videos barely received any views, but any upswing in numbers was good enough for me-if one person was watching that’s all I needed to keep going. I chose content that I was already essentially making so it wasn’t that much of a stretch to just film and edit it. The beginning is so fun because you can do whatever you want with little to no consequence. You don’t have an audience yet that “expects” a certain type of content from you so you can do whatever and switch it up whenever too! My best advice to anyone starting a channel is to make videos because you’re already doing that type of “content” in your life-don’t worry if you don’t get many views in the first few months or even year. It takes consistency and time for RUclips to recommend you 🥰
Thank you so so much. I got it now 😚.
Have a wonderful day Ashley dear.
Greeting from The Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. ❤
How come you don’t run the home business anymore?
Lots of reasons, but the main one being just needed more time for myself and for my family. With a full time job it was too much! 💕
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe Thank you for the response. I’m getting ready to start a home bakery business so I was just curious.
