টাঙ্গাইল-আরিচা মহাসড়কে কাটা হচ্ছে শতবর্ষী ফলদ ও বনজ গাছ

টাঙ্গাইল-আরিচা মহাসড়ক উন্নয়ন কাজের জন্য কাটা পড়ছে রাস্তার পাশের ২ হাজার ৩৭৯টি গাছ। এর মধ্যে রয়েছে আম, জাম, কাঠাল, মেহগনি ও বটসহ শতবর্ষী ফলদ ও বনজ গাছ। ইতোমধ্যে বেশকিছু গাছ কেটে ফেলা হয়েছে। বাকিগুলোও কাটা চলছে।
