Here's my take. Clearly they would not shoot that well every night, but their effort on defense was very improved. They also played offense with a lot more pace. It may well be that LBJ and AD are part of the Lakers problems. Davis is inconsistent. LeBron is a part time player on defense.

You make a good point; so here is my perspective: LeBron and AD need to start the 2nd quarter and let starters that played against the Celtics begin the game like that, no need to do half court setup, run the ball to out hustle your opponent, I think if they do that, they have a better chance of making it to the playoffs and earning a spot in the western conference finals...

Love bron. He is my goat...But I must say, his defensive effort and placements on defensive plays(just hovering near rim trying to get easy rebounds/ball watching at times) is what costs the lakers and throws the team dynamic. HE needs to step it up on defense or play lesser minutes to allow coach ham to do his thing and get the youngster some minutes and familiarity winning together. The whole subbing yourself in/out a game has always been an odd thing to me. Undermines the coach's ability to see out his strategy. He constantly needs to adjust to Bron and AD's whims on court
