Not sure you could go wrong with any Jinjer choice. I love all of these and Words or Wisdom which was also mentioned, I think I would add Perennial, I love that one and if you watch the one live at Wacken open air you can get a good feel for just how good her vocal transitions are at a show.

One of the coolest things I learned about this band is how the Bass and Guitar player switch spots in songs. sometimes Bass is the lead and the Guitar is the rhythm. THis band is great. so many different types of songs.

Yes it is, yet there is a common thread of greatness through all their songs and that's what keeps us all so jazzed about this band and seeing them appreciated and reacted to. Recommending you do the song "just another". Its a little older song but I think a great follow up to teacher teacher for you. Look forward to it!

I say this because I confess that I usually proceed to the next video before I finish the one I'm watching. Until this one. at 12:39 you proved, ONCE AGAIN, that we, I mean ME, have to slow down even MORE in this super shitty time of global crisis. at 12:39 you "dropped some heavy bars!"
Sorry if my slang is bullshit, I'm a northern Canadian, pale mushroom colored dude, but seriously, the wisdom you so naturally spoke explained more about who YOU are, than about the lyrics. Yah got soul, and yah got heart, and when you lend your head a voice as well... well we get to experience your reactions on a personal level. I'm not being creepy, I'm just saying that the way you apply your own life to the lyricists ideas, and you do it honestly. And, seriously, 12:39 to the end is pretty brilliant my friend. Ok, eh, keep up the good work and I'll leave all the other kids here to lead you along this journey of hearing music for the first time. And I should warn you that it could also end up being an emotional, psychological, and perhaps even spiritually life changing thing. Especially when you hear some of the "fringe" bands and artists out there. Music is DEFINITELY NOT JUST what you hear on Spotify or Yuuuutube etc. My list of song suggestions for you is much too difficult to share with you because the artists that make me lose sleep over after hearing their songs, sadly aren't available on video sites.
HOWEVER, if you've made it to the end of MY comment, heh, then I would advise you to take a listen to "Snarky Puppy - Lingus (We Like It Here)" it's not metal. It's also not really jazz and it grooves. It's a bunch of other peeps that are in the best musicians of the world club. And they JAM! Super cool. You'll see where to go from there. On a softer, sweeter side, I suggest "AURORA - MURDER SONG (5,4,3,2,1) - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert" Anyhoot. Cheers mate! \m/ \m/

The consensus according to Noisecreep a metal/rock news media is that it was invented by American hardcore punk band Sick of it All. but the vocalist Lou Koller merely revived the act in 1996 after seeing it during the 80's hardcore scene in New York. It may be that it was made more a stable from Slayer shows which is where I thought it came from. It's an evolution of slam dancing seen at hardcore punk shows back in the 80's.

I was into moshing at shows back in 1994 but show a dramatic change in pits from 2007 on. Young dudes walking out from a pit with split lips broken noses and such at Ozzfest 2007. They doin shit called a helicopter flyin legs everywhere in the pit. Like total loss of body function. Flailing about.
