Hi Amy, that is beautiful effect. Lovely as a snow effect jar for Christmas. I love them. I wonder if you could use bath salts, I have a few I dont like the smell from them. I be honest thought the heat from the resin would melt or dissolve the salt... But no. Very cool effect. I never saw that before. Have a good day.
@@CelestialPopCollectiveOfficial thanks. The bath salts, is salt but I don't think its Epsom. Like there are different salts 🧂 pink himalayas, sea, table, etc. They are a lorry load. Here in Ireland Epsom salt is more expensive than cheaper bath salts. I understand standard it's a salt. But what kind 🤔 . Have a good day.
@@roseosfromIreland Oh! Here in North America we can get a 1kg bag of epsom salt, scented for bathing, for a dollar. I didn’t realize over seas price would be considered expensive. Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you. I will say though, salt is salt and when crystals are forming as the water evaporates, the type of salt shouldn’t make much difference. I think the reason we use epsom is because the grains are large and the product is inexpensive for a large amount. My guess is you can use whatever is most affordable where you live. 🫶🏻🇨🇦
These turned out SO NICE! I liked that you put the fake snow in it too. Try a deep, rich red. Weigh your jars now and that will tell you how many grams of resin each one takes.
Beautiful. I am going to try some diamond dust and some Maribo rainbow ink added to mine along with the epsom salt. I might try one with pink and one with gray coarse Himalayan salt as well. A friend of mine also wants one made like this with epsom salt, diamond dust, maribo rainbow alcohol ink and some crushed lavender mixed in. It should be pretty with pops of purple and the rainbow ink. Wonder what it would look like with a little battery tealight in it or fairy lights. With all the shimmer and facets from the salt it should be pretty.
Very Nice effect. Found you in my feed. I am now a NEW SUBSCRIBER! 💃 🕺 😊
Welcome aboard! And thank you so much. I hope you enjoy my videos.
Those turned out gorgeous Miss Amy I love them
Thanks so much 😊
When I tried this the salt ate thru the resin in some spots. Now I'm going to give it another shot. They look great!!
Oh thank you so much I would love to see them when you redo them.
Wow ate through them ,that's crazy I'm so sorry.
That is a pretty cool effect, it reminds me of snow, that would look cool in a Christmas project too, I think👍🏻❤️

I didn't know what was going to happen but I thought it was pretty cool and it doesn't smell. Thank you
@@amysresincorner my bath salts smells like a wet dog if they work in resin it would be great. I thought it was a brilliant effect.
Ummm Epsom salts ARE bath salts 🫶🏻

Thank you and I think that would be beautiful!
What do these look like with fairy lights inside or a battery tea light? Probably like ice. Would be pretty.
Probably so, I just don't have any fairy lights right now.
The large one would look lovely with a battery powered tealight inside with the lid on..😊
That would be cool!
Fill mold with water. Dump said water into a measuring cup. Write it down
Then write it on the mold.
Thanks
How come the salt doesn’t dissolve in the liquid?
I have no idea..
@@GenXHippie thank you for the explanation.
Thank you
Use a Sharpie and write the amount of resin needed on each mold.
I was writing the amount on it and sometimes I forget.
Take alcohol ink and dye the salt…..hmmmmmm
Does sound intriguing doesn't it
Was just wondering about this.
Weigh your pieces then write the amounts on your molds
Thanks
