This is the best explanation of off delay

Always a great explanation, and you make it easy to follow along, especially for us visual learners. As a second year electrical student, you've helped tremendously. What program are you using to create these motor control circuits? It would be great to use for building more complex circuits for further learning.

Thank you. Much easier to understand the concept of how on and off delay works with the visuals. What program did you use to create that ladder diagram on the computer?

I am not able to view your motor control videos. The 277/480 math video always appears. Any suggestions?

What would be a practical use for this out in the field hydraulic pumps ? And why would you use it out in the field ?

    • @Z-Ack

Probably to have a pump turn off after a delay in time when the pump was not needing to be ran anymore.

Think about it, like even a little... just for a second and if you come up with nothing try a different line of work... ok so off the top.. a pump is filling a cylinder pushing the piston out as it fills. Ya with me? Ok so the piston gets yo the end of its stroke and the cylinder is full right? So theres a spring on the end of the piston to push it back down but theres 2000psi of hydraulic fluid pressure behind that piston in the cylinder. If the pump were to stay on than it would build up pressure until everything blew up. But the time it takes to fill the cylinder is known.. and the spring when compressed fully pushes a nail in the head of a dumbass. So in order to automate the dumbass deathification, a button is pushed, takes 5 seconds for cylinder to fill. 5 seconds later a dumbass is killed, pump switches off, spring pushes fluid back to reservoir, piston lowers, when piston reaches beginning of stroke it hits a limit switch starting the process over again for the next dumbass who is in line to see whats inside the "danger, high pressure automated nail gun" hole. If you got the chance would you smell an extremely deadly gas so you could protect people in the future in case you smelled it again, so you could be a hero?

Why is the audio always extremely low on all of your motor control videos, please check your microphone!
