Mebane and Clemons controlled the line of scrimmage they were first to disrupt the trenches so the rest of the defense can eat everyone on that defense did their jobs stuck to their assignments played as a whole unit and they did it beautifully LOB FOR LIFE

Oohwee that's a hard call, Russell Wilson or Justin fields. You don't want to break that rhythm and momentum.... & he's young, he needs them reps, he may just be there future.
But on the other hand, you get a seasoned vet that's been there, protects the ball & if you can give Russell protection.... We may see the second coming of DangeRuss🫲🏽🤨🫱🏽

Im not taking anything away from Malcolm Smith but Cliff was my vote for SB MVP! I have watched SB48 probably 100 times by now because I love to re-live it but when i watch Cliff was getting so much pressure on every single Defensive play, Cliff was one of the ones that made Manning continually throw them ducks 🦆! I didn't see one play where Cliff wasn't getting that pressure in, he had to have been a nightmare for Manning! Thank you for all you gave to this team and continue to gove to this city Cliff, appreciate you!
All these guys look so good, even better than when they were all on the field. I guess getting beat up makes you look a bit beat up😁🤷♀️

I first remember hearing Gee's name when he began interviewing players @ the VMAC. I remember hearing how the players opened up a lot more to him and laughed a lot more w/Gee than they did in their press conferences. Gee asked great insightful questions and had (has) a voice for broadcasting. It sounded like a small group of guys were sitting in a living room chewing it up w/each other - guys would walk by the room Gee was interviewing guys in and holler and joke. The guys in the room would holler back, "Get in here w/us!" It was a lot of fun. And LOOK at you NOW Gee! Cliff is right. Us Hawks fans LOVE our guys. I think it's partially because the organization seems to be pretty choosy about the character of the guys it brings in. When former players retire and stay here? It's the BEST they choose to continue to share their talents in our city. And many of us fans ARE interested in you after you retire. I've always admired Cliff's drive to seek more information, to be better, to learn more, and it's clear that's not changed. Today his demeanor seems full of peace and confidence in who he is and what he's doing. I loved hearing about his work in Haiti and other philanthropic work. Such good guys we have who have chosen to make their home Seattle. I love the analogy of the players sending 'down' the elevator to help others, and Cliff's era came down in the elevator to help and elevate others. Sorry this is so long. I really appreciated the discussion. Great job to The Reset and Cliff!

The Super Bowl winning team featured the old guard Chris Clemons and Red Bryant on defensive line and the newer guard in Brendan Mebane, Cliff Avril and Micheal Bennett and they all contributed helped out LB’s Wags and KJ and the LOB Cam, Earl, Sherm, Thurmond, Browner(suspended) and Bryon Maxwell and Homer able mention back up LB Malcom Smith MVP of Super Bowl. Great Defense.
