So here’s where I’m confused. Currently in the process of getting together an offer for my first home in the state of Maryland. Realtor and mortgage lender are both ushering me in this direction. When we crunch numbers with and without this program. With the program I’m paying an extra $100 per month…. And still have to
Pay it full when I refinance or sell. So HOW am I not paying interest?? Because essentially I’m paying monthly to RENT 12K for however long I hold it before I sell/refinance….. and still have to pay the 12K back???? This sounds like a scam that’s sold to us “in our best interest” to be honest

quick correction, the max student loan forgiveness is $50,000, not 30k. idk if its changed since this was uploaded

That is correct at the time of this video it was $30,000 it is now $50,000

No you do not have to be a Maryland resident and the home has to become your primary residence.

You said 720 credit score? I thought it was 640.

It’s 580 and higher to buy a home. It’s 720 and higher to get down payment assistance.
