I got to meet the members of Lovbites at the first gig they played in London on 14th June. I had all these things I wanted to say to them, complimenting them on their music and how much I admire them. In the event, I was reduced to a tongue tied fanboy 🤣 74 years old and rendered embarrassed and speechless by 5 petite young Japanese ladies 😄 But seriously, if you do ever get chance to see them play live, take it, they do not disappoint. A little trivia you might like Tauri. Fami is playing her Bacchus 'Fami Signature headless Bass'. Her contract with Bacchus predates her joining Lovebites by more than a year. I think she was always destined to be a great musician, but being a member of Lovebites makes it a certainty.
Thanks for your awesome reaction, like always. They doing the things in the right direction always, only one way - up. Never looked down. They are the bar and every time they rise the level with them selves. I don't want to think what is gonna be when they make next full album. @@TauriReacts You should consider the Dallas show. The Echo in Dallas is a fantastic venue which holds about 1,000. It is only 5 miles from Love Field with plenty of nice hotels nearby. I would be at the Dallas show except I bought my ProgPower tickets as soon as they were available. The Friday/Saturday tickets sold out in less that 48 hours.
This song is an awesome and innovative blend of speed-power/thrash with a touch of metalcore. Check out the other 3 audio-only tracks on the new EP. They're very different but just as good or even better. BTW, immediately after ProgPower, the band will be performing 3 other shows next month in Dallas, SF and LA

All five of the songs on The Lovebites EP II are fantastic but my favorite is the third track Where's Identity. Miyako and Asami cowrote the music so apparently Stand and Deliver was just the beginning for this cowriting duo. That is a very, very exciting prospect. The other four tracks - Unchained: music composed by Miyako Soul Defender: music composed by Asami and Mao The Bell in the Jail: music composed by Mao Someone's Dream: music composed by Miyako Of course, Asami wrote all of the lyrics, probably still with the translation assistance of Ayako Kawai who is an American singer/songwriter now living in Tokyo. Ayako has also helped Asami with her English vocals over the last few years.
I would love to see a colab with Them and Liliac! Could you imagine the stratosphere notes and the shred fest. I love Lovebites. They are above and beyond.
I was in Paris venue of the LOVEBITES European & UK Tour. I was a incredible show. For me my favorite concert ever. It was a small venue in a basement of old building in Paris with no air conditionned or recycle system. 500 fans & them, it was hot as hell. They've need a hairdry to do the Encore. I was clause to Miyako Watanabe. When they've switch place Asami give a fist check. So great moment. I Hope someday you can have the same experience in a small venue. They've give us the same performance as the give in japonese Big show. The only things i was sad, no piano during the tour so No songs with Miyako on keys. 🇨🇵🇯🇵

Good evening! I'm just dropping by to leave a quick comment and say that I was struck by the vocal intonation! She has very accentuated high note starts! As I listen to it at a slower speed and using headphones, I notice that she bends the notes, making them float. I don't know the technical name for this way of singing, but it stands out! And the fast rhythm of the drums and the guitar show formed a beautiful musical arrangement! Rewatching your old videos, I realized that you've been following the girls' work for some time!
