I admit I wasn't a fan of Cristina's vocals at the beginning, ofc she also admits she wasn't aplying for vocals, but the training is paying off and she has her uniquess tone. Also, the facials all of them not only did good at dancing and signing, but also the facial expressions. Yeah, as I said it was like watching a debut stage.

Lexus surprised me with her vocals' improvement. Yuna got better in singing. Kendall unexpectedly performed worse than last time - though her expressions were great, the vocals were more unstable than I expected.
Camila + Gina + Cristina were on fire. What a great performance. I am so happy that Gina finally let go of whatever restricted her, her stiffness all gone is great to see.

I know right?! But when it’s Kendall, she can’t do anything wrong and is perfect all around when in all honesty, Kendall has one trump card which is her visuals and expressions while performing. Other than that Kendall’s singing is very very below average and her dancing is average yet Lexi will slay a dance and improve heavily for her vocals and get zero mention at all smh

@@shaunbang But Lexu's performance didn't fit the feel of the song. It wasn't as delicate compared to Kendall. They already did the who's best at vocal and dancing, etc. Now it's more on how they move their audience as if their performance was their song. The feeling. But I agree that J.Y. The Back-door trio made my jaw and eyeballs drop, such a powerful, synchronized, and well executed performance! Camila's voice, Christina's facial expressions, and Gina's energy and stability made this performance unstoppable! In addition, I refuse to believe that Gina is 13?! Wow.

If Lexi doesn't debut I'm gonna lose it. She's my number 1 favorite out of all the contestants. There's this beautiful aura about her that makes me love her. She gives kpop idol. I hate how JYP only talks about her faults and not how she improved. Last time I checked he said it was based on improvement and Lexi improved so much her vocals gotten so much better but JYP didn't recognize that. I'm going to continue to support Lexi all the way. Go Lexi!!!
Jyp has always complimented her dance, and the last performance her vocals. He is just saying she needs to improve. This performed she was still shaky, unstable, and out of tune. There is nothing to point out.

Honestly, it's really disheartening to watch JYP continuously discourage Lexie. She has improved so much with her singing that I was impressed. She stood out to me in their performance. Her instructor told her to sing her part brighter, and she executed so nicely. Her facial expression was also very cute. I can understand where JYP said for her movements in this one to not be so strong or powerful, but can he not give her some encouragement that she's also improved a lot as well. She's definitely one of my top 5. ❤ #teamlexie

He didn't criticise her vocals tho..he talked about how her dance was a little stiff.
But never criticised her vocals, only said that the whole team's vocals was good but not the most stable and that it was expected since the song requires hard vocal abilities.
I totally agree. The feels she was unstable. Here she had improved so much. Why wasn't she complimented for her hard work? She had a much stronger and stable voice than Kendall (sorry kendall). Her dancing was not that undelicate. He keeps giving her twice songs!

Lexi was the star of the Alcohol free team and her vocals were so stable, I wish JYP had complimented her, she has improved a lot !

the favoritism doesn't favor anyone in the end! yuna and lexus were more criticised even though lexus did a good job, especially with her vocals, and yuna improved and was more on-beat. and kendall will definitely debut, but she will be heavily critiqued by fans, because even netizens are noticing the favoritism and international fans are constantly pointing it out.

The western market isn't a fan of favoritism and will not stand for one person getting all the best outfits, most lines and screen time, especially if that person cant even sing, is average at dancing and only has "looks". Oh, and spoiler alert to the kpop stans, kendall's look is actually average per western standards. KG is the IT girl. She has your typical all-American girl look, hence why she is getting by by just mainly singing all the time. He needs KG to sell to the American viewers.
But regardless, i hope he does get rid of Lexus so she can be with a different company that will actually value her and let her shine. It will actually be the best thing he does for Lexus. She doesn't deserve to be beat down, then eliminated just to be brought back for kicks and giggles, especially when she actually deserves a spot by merit alone.

She may actually be more experienced than any other contestant since she's been a JYP trainee before 😎 But she's still very very young! (only 14 y.o. atm)

She sang 3/4 of the song while being stable, what people call shaky, is her voice, even when she talks her voice is like that. Her dance was better than yuna and Lexus this time, it was elevated and elegant. Stop putting Lexus on a pedestal, she got critism, it isin’t the end of the world, she has to improve more. If jyp only tells how good she is, then what’s the point??? She isin’t perfect, she isin’t the best. Literally, throughout the whole song, she was out of tune, white shaky voice, and her dance had no lines.
@@gunpookiePlus Kendall is the only one that put natural emotions as well as yuna. Lexi looks uncomfortable in this dance. Plus jyp didn’t mention nothing about the voices. He said that the WHOLE GROUP was unstable, but sang well considering the song.
Kendall's voice were unstable yet JYP only commented on Lexus which were more stable and clear than Kendall's. I can clearly see the favoritism going.
Not only was Lexi's voice clear and strong, so were her dance moves.
I think lexi's vocal deserved some serious praise - they were so stable. And Yuna was mesmerizing, she had my attention the entire performance

JYP was right. Yuna and Lexus dance movement on Alcohol-free by Twice were stiff. Go watch Twice dance video and you'll see and understand what JYP was talking about. Kendall was the only one sway to the music like the water movement. I have a feeling Yuna might face the fate that Momoka in Nizi project went through.
Exactly....for me out of the three she was the best in today's performance..and Yuna improved too(she was giving off chaeyoung vibes ❤️)..and about Kendall..she is always good and he praises her a lot too but yeah the singing and dancing at the same time in this song is hard ..she had a little bit of unstable voice....

Out of the alcohol free group Lexus voice was the one that suited the song the most, it was really clear and pleasant to listen to. She’s definitely improved, same with yuna. Kendalls movements were very good, i can’t deny that that, but her vocals cracked in some places, so im confused why jyp didn’t criticize that

Lexus has been my favorite ever since her audition and it never fails to surprise me how despite her constantly doing well she never gets the recognition some other girls get, I thought her vocals in this performance were extremely solid and even during the last evaluation she put on a more solid performance then certain other girls but was ranked close to last... it just feels like no matter how much she improves she isn't getting awknowledged for it while certain other girls are sliding by.

In my opinion, Lexus did really well. Of course she may be better suited to certain concepts than others, but I really enjoyed watching her and especially hearing her. Her voice sounded so full and vibrant to me. I sincerely hope she debuts!! ❤️
Lexus danced better than Kendall, and he also stood out very well with his vocal. I don't understand why Jyp didn't say any compliments, but he did to Kendall :/

If Lexi doesn't make it, I'm dropping a2k. You don't know how proud i was watching her perform here cuz she danced, sounded and looked so confident here and was actually enjoying the dance. Her vocals sounded really beautiful, full and very stable. She held her center very well too. Yes her dancing was stiff in some moves in the choreo but she did well in her parts where the focus was on her. She can work on being more fluid but her vocals and stage presence today was the best out of the three. I love her tone too. The way i was expecting praises for her after this just for jyp to just ignore all that and focus only on parts of the choreo that was stiff. Everyone gets credit where it's due but i guess not Lexi.

That's what I don't like about how JYP is treating Lexus. He barely acknowledges her improvements like he does other contestants. She isn't perfect, but the girl is trying so hard, and he doesn't seem to care.
He asked for her to improve her vocals and then just ignored it and critiqued her dancing instead.
I'm so pissed because of how much she's improved and instead of praising her, he constantly tears her down. He's only destroying her confidence every time she steps foot on that stage.

I'm in actual awe and shock at the back door performance! Camila, Christine and Gina absolutely slayed it! The vocals, rap, energy, stage presence, adlibs, outfits, expressions! Everything was so good! And its not easy to perform a stray kids song with the explosive energy they showcase! This has to be the best cover of back door that I've seen! I'm feeling so proud as a Stay. I'm sure when the boys see this performance they will also be in shock

I noticed the editors are only ever showing Lexus talk about getting the stickers. It seems like despite JYP not really mentioning her improvement, the company as a whole sees how good she is, and I think her getting so many of the stickers, and the editors showcasing that, is an indication that it will be an important part of the final debut selection. Don't worry too much Lexi fans!

@@Ndoelicious throughout the show until this ep we only see he keeps giving unreasonable corrections for Lexus without mentioning that she's a professional or she did well. Instead, he keeps saying her vocals are bad, while it's not. I mean, from The Feels performance he's totally not praising her vocal while her vocal is stable. If he thinks Lexus is a pro, I guess JYP is wording all his comments wrongly, because we only see he's being too hard and never giving any compliments. It's only hurting her, imagine she's being so good and improved, but always being told that you're bad.

geez the backdoor team is really good... can't believe the two of them didn't debut while other contestants who sings unstable managed to debut. I came back here after seeing the final lineup that debuted and performed on music bank, and there were two who couldn't stabilize. if i were JYP i would swap them with the two members in the backdoor group who were eliminated

Cristina, Camila, and Gina were perfect!!! I'm so happy Cristina and Gina got to finally be so confident with performing you can see them just oozing with charisma. You can see how they got more and more confident throughout the performance, each one giving the other power and each one singing louder and freer and just getting lost in the performance. I'm so worried for Yuna though, you can see the twinkle from her eyes fading and its like she's already expecting to fail :((( I hope she regains some confidence

Lexus did so well. I felt she was the best out of the group and Kendall’s voice sounded unstable. JYP has been so hard on Lexus. From the beginning to now her vocals have improved so much. I’m bummed he didn’t acknowledge it. And him saying she’s not versatile? She’s literally been trying to get out of her comfort zone to show different sides of herself.
Meanwhile KG has been getting extreme "favoritism" as the no dance, no emotion, barbie country cowgirl cold queen. KG literally has gotten a free pass for her 3 solo while everyone else has to do EVERYTHING (dancing, singing in Korean etc) but just singing alone. KG also shows no communication, no caring, no support to other members.

It's a guarantee that your team would not be last place if Camilla is in it. She's the only all rounder (vocals, dance, charisma and leadership) every one else has 1-2 weakness.

thank God... i read the comments. i thought maybe i was the one going crazy, but im not the only one who sees it as well. Each member of the MARTEAMI team had their pros and cons in this performance.
Kendall's vocals were shaky and thin at some parts, but her facial expressions, vibe, and dance was great.
Lexus' dance was a bit stiff to look at and not so flowy, but her vocals were so stable and i love how she made her voice sound brighter.
Yuna struggles with staying on beat in dancing and staying on key in singing, but her tone matches the song, she matches the visual of a girl group well, she has star quality, and despite her shortcomings, she always improve bit by bit. But whether that bit by bit improvement is enough, we'll have to see.
I wish the girls the best. I also wish that JYP would be more fair in his feedback. I can't help but see favoritism with the constant praise for Kendall and constant criticism for Lexus. I will probably make a whole other comment on that. It's becoming clearer each episode and I used to think that maybe I was just overthinking it. But no. Putting Lexus and Kendall in one team and hearing the feedbacks for them made me more sure of my belief that there is some bias.

@@cecilialin67 because Kendall and KG has star quality that's why management aren't so critical on them because they can draw attention just by standing and being there in a group. A lot of Kpop idols that are like that, mediocre in talent but has the IT factor.. Some girls has to shine on all trades for them to be able to be recognized especially in a group consisting of 5 or more members. That's how entertainment business works, we just have to deal with that.
I KNEW Back Dawgz would knock it out of the park, but I'm still shocked. I'm a Stay and i've seen a lot of covers of Back Door, but this one is something special imo; they performed it like they were promoting a song of their own at music shows😭 Insane charisma, it feels like they're idols already.
