Haha same. I’ve found a good trick is to quickly switch to my side arm to interrupt the reload. Nothing will get you out of the habit of reloading too often like running out of bullets though. I also put a little of El Pozolero’s sosa caustica on my square button works a treat too.
Avoid helicopters and ignore unidad unless is extremely necessary to kick their assess... otherwise avoid them like if they have the plague... Great video man!
yeah man I don't fly anywhere unless I have to, and if I do then I make sure to fly high enough to parachute out if I get a missile lock. I'm not risking my entire game on my ability to out-maneuver a missile lol
If things get crazy with unidad around I just fail the mission on purpose by shooting the key mission vehicle or person we need to keep alive. Restarts the mission quickly and can try it all again from a different angle. Better to mission fail than to die.
jobanh7ify yeah, and if you have/could really do to use a helicopter (like in the Sueño mission), then, FFS DON’T DEPLOY A DRONE FROM A HELICOPTER!!! I have died so many times to team mates deploying a drone AND IT DESTROYS THE HELI, EVERY TIME! It doesn’t matter where you are sat, it always destroys the heli. Oh, and never fly over water because if the heli gets destroyed and instantly lands in water, it’s an insta kill! So frustrating!
I was so pissed I had 10+ hours of Ghost Mode and I was driving on a motorcycle when I crashed and went flying off a cliff landing on the roof of a building. My AI teammates couldn’t revive me so I died
I made it to level 29 once (on regular) and one of my pema-deaths was because I was walking around in the middle of the night, and fell off a cliff I did not see and got snagged on a ledge. T_T And that's the way it goes.

Take your time in planning. Sometimes the Unidad engage the SB and you can just wait a little and sneak by, clear the few remaining enemies. And do missions during night, you can avoid having to kill most of the enemies if you scouted properly and know exactly what you need to do.
Dying after 20 hours of playtime is a disheartening thing, and very frustrating. Dying because of a game glitch or weird game mechanic is even more frustrating. I'm starting my 5th attempt on Advanced, no clouds and no HUD. I'm trying to be careful. However, I do fear the game death caused by the game itself, and not me. That makes me angry. Nevertheless, I really do enjoy this game, and so I guess I will keep trying. For now...
Turn difficult down. I was playing on extreme and after several restarts with several hours each. I said fuck it . you can turn hud off on an easier mode.

The first time I loaded ghost mode and got engaged by the enemy, I realized that at the very least, there needs to be wayyyyyyyy fewer checkpoints in other games, it makes the action 1,000 times more tense. Also my ghosts only weakness seems to be getting run over by civilians and rebels lol
I got rid of my reloading habit because of ghost mode. I used to reload my weapon every time I took a shot. of course if you do that in ghost mode you'll be out of amo in 4 reloads :P
Matteo Kropej In the real world you don't just carry one weapon that's why the normal campaign is like it is , ghost mode is a hardcore version stripping away the players assests . They could add this if enough players want it , personally i like to have choice .
Exactly Matteo Kropej i regularly change my primary assault rifle over to my sniper all the time especially to get rid of Unidad helicopters or just to take out enemies from 600m out . The game has alot of customization love it so much , why ghost mode is unique as your options are so different .
WeAreALL ANTIFA Ghost Recon :Wildlands in normal mode doesn't carry 20+ guns only 3 primary ,secondary and a pistol , yes you can access the guns because this is a game :) Real special forces don't just carry one weapon neither lol .
My friends and I have been making our way through ghost mode on extreme difficulty. None of us really care about the exo-suit, but the challenge is fantastic. Up close and loud does not work in extreme period. Name of the game there is slow and steady. Our RoE is 10+ minutes of recon, then stealth takedowns and sniping. If the enemy calls for reinforcements and you have no line of retreat it is game over. As always, love your content man, looking forward to the rest of your series on ghost mode!
One of the biggest things I learned, is not to be afraid of retreating from bad situations. Even if it means a failed mission. Better to bail and try again than to die and start all over again. Pretty much anytime I go down and need to be healed by teammates my first priority is find a way out of danger. No sense playing with fire down to your last strike, just fall back let everything reset and begin your approach again.
On my second GM playthrough, I was level 27, and I had all operations taken out, Suéno taken out, just needed level 30 and tier 1 left, but of course I died, got gangbanged by narco machinegunners and there was no cover anywhere..

Oh man I’m looking forward to this! Watching that video was the mutts nuts Darkdally! I’m on my 11th boss, I’ve taken down 1 wing with a few bosses in each. I’m doing the 5💀’s first to get them out of the way. But I’m loving the challenge of Ghost mode & it has changed the way I play, even in standard GRW. I’m still counting my rounds & not changing every 5 or 10 shots & I’m using my drone a lot more to do a reccy of my targets where as before I’d just go in & take down targets as i found them! Great video. I’ve been running extreme level. It is fun because so intense. I would say extra sync important on extreme. Best tip though are two words: recon and evasion. Recon everything. Evasion - always have exit plan. Sometimes it’s just run supress and flank!
I'm gonna get lynched for saying this but I use the SR-25 Jungle lmao. Just comforting knowing I have a cheesy weapon to swat vehicles with no effort. Feels bad but I just want all my rewards. Big tip don't change seats in a helicopter you'll die if you hit the ground hard enough so don't accidentally hit circle.
I used the SR-25 Jungle for the Koani mission where you have to destroy that convoy and kill Boquita. I didn't wanna mess with it, so just went one shot, one shot, one shot, done lol
I use the SR25 Jungle (and a Skorpion in the sidearm slot) for the missions where you have to hold off waves of enemies, like the hospital, hacking the Aqua Verde guest list computer, and all the mortar skill things. It's super fucking useful.
When you die, do all your skills reset as well? Do you have to go and work those from nothing?

I agree bullet resistance is important but so is detection and quiet running. You really wanna play stealthily in Ghost mode. Thermal vision and Flashbangs are also very important I think.

yeah there's a lot about ghost mode i didn't mention here. atm i'm just doing arcade to get full exo, and then i will be going over the mode with a fine toothed comb. as it is i've put like 30 hrs into it in 3 days to get where i am. add to that the time to make the videos and i'm rushing as fast as I can. thanks man :)
@@deliriumsrealm8619 It is not. You can choose any of the difficulties to play on. Until you enable Tier 1. Have you tried the Tar-21, ACP, or M4A1? Those are the go tos from what I've heard.
I like the TAR-21, but it's too loud suppressed, and if you're going loud anyways, there are harder hitting options. The M4 is a great option because it's among the quietest assault rifles when suppressed, and has decent range..
Great points dally. I would add the following... 1. Avoid helicopters, planes and motorcycles. They're buggy bullet magnets. 2. Semi-auto snipers and the G28 scope. Perfect for long range and close range. 3. Before starting missions, travel through different provinces upgrading all the rebel skills. You'll need them.
On my third ghost mode characters. Lost my first one when the ai wouldnt revive me at tier 27. Felt like losing a girlfriend tbh. Lost my second ambushed by unidad gunship at lvl 20. Now on my third, playing on arcade just to collect the suits.
@@silkychan6099 man that sucks. I recently lost a tier 30 profile for the same reason. Stupid teammates died to the unidad. Although it was also because i was on a motorcycle. Enemies can easily kill you when you're on a bike, so i'm only using cars from now on. the extreme sports car to be precise. I'm still however gonna keep playing on extreme.
@@silkychan6099 I still drive really fast. Even if you flip the car you'll be fine to get out of it. Just make sure you don't go off a mountain if your car is smoking, or better, just summon a new car. I only fly helicopters if it's to get the supplies or to take down a convoy. you know those rocket helicopters. I know where one spawns, but being able to summon one will be a lot more convenient. Just gotta get lucky with the crates. Oh and i just use prestige crates because they're free if you play ghost mode or progress in tiers.
@@infinitedeath1384 just a tip for convoy take down. Maybe u have heard of it. Get in front of the convoy route. Then use your drone to do rebel intel on the convoy to mark the convoy baddies. Then sync shot the driver of the truck. Make sure u do the shot when the convoy at least 200m from your position or else the remaining narcos will swamp your position. Then take out the remaining narcos. U will get the supply at its maximum level n minimal fuss.
I highly recommend using a crossbow when trying stealth, you only load in one bolt at a time so you don’t loose ammo, and it one shots most enemies ( dlc needed)
You can attach and detach suppressors at anytime even in Ghost mode, so I generally stick to a Standard Muzzle that I interchange with a suppressor depending on the range or engagement along with if my cover has been blown. Their is no reason especially if your using an AR to not have access to a suppressor, I almost never use my pistol due to this little fact. I still like to keep my weapons very grounded to reality so I tend to stick to the 416 and M4 both with Long Barrel, Standard Muzzle, APTAIL Laser, ACOG, 30rnd Magazine, and an M203.
Great tips dude. Its not to far from how iam playing ghost mode however i use the MK246 as my main and glad to see another person not running a suppressor lol
I figured out a cheesy way to kill him before he even leaves. First equip the emp drone then place it as close to the window as possible if done right La Plaga will get on the bike but wont leave because of the emp affecting the bikes. Then, just break down the door and shoot, grab him, or whatever else you want to do to him. I think you have 20-30 secs before the emp wears out, but Its been a long time since I checked time so test it on a vehicle first if you want.
lol. yeah since beating this game every which way and hitting tier 1 i find myself often on lower difficulties just for fun... but now there's ghost mode. once i beat all the buchones I'll be back on tier mode i guess till i beat tier on ghost mode. this damned game lol :(
Just started playing ghost mode on extreme difficulty and probably going to use the same check list like before: 1. Scouting & planning 2. Stealth (night) or loud if neccessary 3. If shit hits the fan, retreat 4. keep in mind how many shots you use 5. Use cover and don’t be out in the open 6. Use your surroundings for your benefit Would love to hear if anyone has anything to add to this list! 😁
Started playing this game again for the first time since 2017. Loving Ghost mode. I’ve died like 3 or 4 times. But I’m slowing getting better. I tend to 100% each province before moving onto the next. So I’ve conquered Itacua a fair amount of times. Your videos make me want to play more.
The M9 pistol is probably the best handgun for Ghost Mode, it does damage like an AR. At 50-100m, 6 body shots/2 headshots to kill an alert heavy SB, 3 body shots/1 headshot for an alert light SB, cut those numbers in half for close range, lower bullet drop than the fn57, more than the 1911, but it has a 25 round mag. You can get into shootouts with a PISTOL, and maintain some distance. It's absolute insanity.
I want to add in that if all your squadmates (AI team) are downed and it seems like the odds will not be in your favor: just quit to the main menu and restart the mission once in game. Its really easy to become overconfident and think you can carry through (and there will be times where this is true) but its not always worth the risk and lose to permadeath. Also the new proximity mines can be a huge godsend as a diversionary tactic to get out of a bad situation when inside some bigger outposts and bases.
they need to add the m1128 stryker to the game if possible it would be a cool apc to drive around it or even m134 gatling gun suv and a system where you can get your ai to drive you or pilot you anywhere across the map and allow you to be in the back seat on or the mg.
Im doing my second play-through on ghost mode ive been rocking the crossbow only it’s actually amazing the kind if play style it takes for it to work well
Currently finally trying Ghost Mode cause I had some time on my hand must say it´s the best GR experience so far for me taking it nice and slow due to tier mode and sync shooting the hell out of it with noisemaker and lures when i get to Missions like el muro or el pulpo i admit turning of tier mode cause shit always will hit the fan :) I played Breakpoint to a point but it just did not have the right feel for me so I will play this until everything is unlocked or what I can achieve. I personally went for the second chance skill first and then stealth skills like running detection and resistances and of course lvl up the drone by taking out escorts and air resource missions I was something around lvl 15 before I finished the first region due to finding skill points in places like Monte Punco or La Cruz and gearing up my prefered weapons. TY for your uploads and affection you have for this game. In my opinion this ist the best game out of Ubisoft
Hey for anyone on ps4 just a heads up you can save your game on PS+ every so often and when you die restore it to where you never died when your save file gets deleted
so my advice for y’all is for sure to always avoid helicopters and planes as possible, travel by car (no motorcycles) or fast travel as much as possible to avoid conflict, then always drone and mark every enemy when going into a mission, if you’re defending a point mines, proximity mines and c4 are your best friend along with grenade launchers, the the first upgrade go for your medic drone, also if you have friends who play this game play with them and only play with them because your ai sometimes glitch out and don’t revive you
My first death in ghost mode came after easily 30+ hours of gameplay. I'd unlocked most of the weapons & kit in the game, & had all my important skills unlocked. I went down during a firefight, and was waiting for a revive when my game froze. When I loaded back up, it said I'd died. 😒 My second death came on a weird chopper crash while landing to ambush a convoy, about 10 hours in. Here's why I still run a supressed assault rifle (usually the ACR, if you're wondering; started using it for the first time on my first ghost mode attempt, and absolutely fell in love with it. Up til that point, I'd been doing like you, and using a modifiable DLC weapon-specifically, the M16): after the shit hits the fan, with a supressed rifle, you can drop your immediate threats, relocate, and flank any additionals without starting a full-scale war you're more likely to die in. Apart from that, good stuff!
I chose to challenge myself a little by not running ghost mode in Arcade, and went with regular instead. I'm still trying to play somewhat stealthy though so going loud is a challenge for me.
I'm running it in Arcade so I can get through it to show you guys this stuff. I wouldn't have many interesting videos restarting every day. as it is I put like 10 hours a day into playing just to make a vid. lol keep that in mind. once i get full exo i will be going tier mode and keep going.
I finished the story with 96% completion and it took me 26 hours. I died because my teammates glitched out and wouldn’t move when I was bleeding out doing the Rainbow Six Siege side mission after I activated Tier One Mode. Fuck this game.
I played high risk. I started at itacua and climbed through the skulls in order saving the heads for last followed by sueno. Went down twice in the playthrough but never died. Completed in around 25 hours and one attempt. Also level thirty for the chrome blue playthrough
Playing ghost mode on regular with no teammates and some hud options off including minimap and im loving it. Never played wildlands till ghost mode came out and it sounded right up my street. Also playing ghost mode with a mate too. :)
Did Ghost Mode for the first time on Regular, completed several provinces but died on a side mission (Mortar) in Caimanes I'm gonna try again, I'm not doing any of the DLC missions until I beat the game on Ghost Mode
Haha I only really want the Silver/Blue Exo. While I find the Gold one cool, I personally don't think it's worth playing that much for a bit of customisaton.
Damn, how do you guys do it so fast? F! Didn’t you just start playing again last week? It took me two months to complete this game... with MULTIPLE deaths. I started Ghost Mode but I’ve been super careful and taken full advantage of sync shot, rebel ops and the drone as soon as I can. We’ll see, but the chance of me getting a GOLD exosuit is between slim and “fat chance, noob!” Love your stuff, DD, keep it coming.
CyberJay1226 just have a good load out that’s all I have to say but me I stayed with the regular 416 u get when u start the game I like that weapon it never fails me in GM
Awesome video! Any advice on weapons to run in advanced/expert difficulty for Ghost Mode? It gets difficult using the same strategy as you in the video on harder difficulties. Loved the content and can not WAIT for more Ghost Mode videos
Hey dude, im runing gosht mod only in expert and my setting is m4a1 for close range, mk 17 is my all way weapon (really nice to snipe under 300m), and as darkdally point it any handgun is fine, just aim for the head. Hope thats help
Just found your channel recently, and let me say, I’m loving your content. However, I don’t have ghost mode yet myself,’it looks interesting, most certainly a new breath of life for the game. In any case, I do have a question, I’m not fully versed in the different rigs, plate carriers and the like. Thus, I’m wondering what the average infantry would. Something heavier like the IBA? Or something like the Molly? I know, that’s rather narrow, I just wanted to create a new character. Now, with that, I want the aforementioned character’s outfits to match up with real world counterparts!

I knocked ghost mode out with the 5.7 which right from the beginning of the game is a quick run. For primary I ran the sr25 liberator. The g28 scope is a 4x and a red dot. Beat it all on regular except making to tier 1. I died at tier 33
So I'm actually trying to do Gjost Mode myself. Definitely getting better at kicking my reloading habit, and I'm usually using the LVOA with an Acog that way I can keep a long range rifle, and the Blacklist 5.7 (the Sam Fisher one), just cuz it looks more appealing than the rest cuz I'm honestly not a fan of the squared can on em.

The Exoskeleton armour looks pretty sweet , i have the Phantom mask from the 'day of the skull' dlc which i brought probably the best mask in the game imo .
I'm planning to grab the backpack first then the body. I get the boots and pants last since I won't see them most of the time. 😁 Avoid also the climbing cliffs. You never know the glitch. Your character might fall into the abyss.
I went through most of the Ghost mode with SC4000 and blacklist pistol(which is actually silenced). and only few times I switched to heavy sniper+smg to kill helicopters :D probably the mist useful tip will be for this mod: avoid Planes, Motocycles, and helicopters if possible (heli cuz you can clip through textures on landing)
I like ghost mode, because it's a video game again. I remember playing some old school video games and when I ran out of lives it was game over. Start from the beginning again. Save points make us weak. And you can die very easily in arcade mode. Just walk off a cliff, get hit by a car, S.A.M., C4 yourself, online friendly fire, spawn a vehicle on your head, fall through the map, power outage during an auto-save, pick a fight with the unidad at to low of a level, and overconfidence (remember this people COMPLACENCY KILLS)

I was playing the game for my second time in ghost mode and got killed by my squad and the rebels. I was assaulting an unidad base silently. I went through perfect and there was only one unidad left and let out some rebels, they started shooting at the unidad INSTANTLY and missed everything. he called reinforcements I held out for a while but then I wanted to get out. So I got in a helicopter... but one of my squad mates was in the middle of throwing a grenade at the unidad but he dropped the grenade at his feet while getting in the heli. Causing it to blow up. I survived until I got out of the heli and got shot by an uni. I was PISSED to say the least.
I'm in ghost mode tier mode will have gold soon . I play tactical and the key is to get skills and increase your drone and body and rebel skills ,sync shoots. Also I fly helicopters everywhere even to el sueno . My setup is hk 416 and five seven .I setup like a dmr 416 various sights grips and then gl . Also ghost mode glitches are bs had a major glitch 1 character was lost save randomly deleted and died on my 2nd but could still use my character. I saved the death screen photo but character wasn't deleted and using him now.
What I learned playing GM in Advanced 1- *ALWAYS* , *ALWAYS* upgrade your bullet resistance and teammates first , IT'S NO GOOD HAVING NADES AND AMMO IF YOU'RE DEAD 2- Ammo , *ALWAYS GET FLASHBANGS AND AMMO* , It'll help doing Rebel Operations and overall are very useful 3- *GET EMP AND MEDICAL DRONES FIRST* , Emp helps you in basically raiding everywhere and medic keeps you alive . 4- *GET THE P227 and ANY MODULAR RIFLE LIKE THE ACR OR MK17* , You have only 2 guns , make sure they're the best 5 - Upgrade your characters sillent run , it will help in the future , trust me 6 - Get the advanced supressor ability , *NEVER , NEVER EVER STOP USING A SUPRESSOR ON ADVANCED OR (If you're a madman) EXTREME* 7- WHEN IN TROUBLE , DON'T HESITATE , CALL THE REBELS IMMEDIATELY ,AND MAKE SURE TO HIDE AND HAVE A GREAT WEAPON FOR CQB
You know, on the Sueno mission, I couldn’t drive fast enough or make it without dying so what I did was park a heli at the top of the hill near Bowen’s shack and I placed mines where the rebels pop up after the cutscene BEFORE entering the shack to trigger the cutscene. After the scene, I jump in one the parked suvs and beeline it up the hill to the heli. Then I fly low over the water right to the mausoleum and land at the door. Well, “land” is a loose term. Then I run in before those guys at the entrance get me. Now, what happens after THAT cutscene is usually bad, the doormen are waiting for me but I did manage to basejump out of there on my replay to unlock the second ending. It’s risky but it’s fast. I’ve gotten from Bowen to Sueno in three minutes this way. Yet, she still manages to beat me to him 🤔
CyberJay1226 I’ve always asked myself that question how does she get there so fast does she have some quantum break abilities where she can freeze time and travel there and release the time rift or something
Just lost my tier 30 character landing a helicopter clipped a rock and instadeath I had most of my skills and rebel upgrades unlocked and only the production wing left. I played on extreme I don’t think I’m going to play ghost mode anymore
Darkdally Just playing devil’s advocate, but wouldn’t attacking the most difficult missions first leave you more likely to die because you have no skills(initially anyway?). Not sure I understand the ‘go loud’ approach that you seem fond of either. To me suppression is one of your biggest strategic benefits. I get your point when you’re approaching it like you do, but you’ve missed several issues. Firstly, if you’re only having teammates snipe for you then you’re much more likely to be detected as you don’t know where they’re firing from, they usually use the FN SCAR-H(Mk 17 in-game I think) which is not a quiet weapon, and you’re mostly going to have to get pretty close to the alarms if you’re planning on taking them all out with a pistol. I find using a silenced sniper rifle from far out a much easier method of disabling alarms and any annoying stragglers too. You can then pick up an enemy weapon or change your load out if the shit hits the fan when you’re inside the base you’re attacking. You’re basically needing to up your penetration because you’re constantly going loud, so you’re creating your own problem. I also disagree about your point distribution and most important skill. The most important skill is Last Chance. Getting that extra down is invaluable. If you’re pulling your weight in the squad they shouldn’t all be going down very often at all, especially as you put points into their effectiveness(Squad Resilience and Born Leader). I’d also hazard a guess that playing the way you have been will not translate at all in Tier Mode, and I think it’s best to train yourself to play how you would under the worst circumstances. If you just want the armour, cool, but to me Ghost Mode is about the journey, not the destination. We asked for these features for more immersion, not more odd cosmetic rewards. I’d understand if the armour actually gave you added protection to aid you in Tier Mode or something, but the need to plan in advance, to work on strategy, and simply just slogging it out to get those skills that you need for longevity in the game is what’s reinvigorated the game for me. If you’re skilled enough to reach Tier 1(which I’ve seen you do) you can at the very least approach the game on Regular or Advanced if you really want a challenge straight off the bat. Starting the game with only the guns and equipment available and the shirt on your back in Ghost Mode is easily the most exhilarating experience I’ve had since finishing the original Dark Souls. With great risk comes great reward.

When i look so at this guide Maybe i make everything wrong at the start. My first steps in Ghost most was so Start game Chance P416 to GRFS ACR and take a chopper and fly to Flor de Oro! De activate AI team mates and sneak into the Base Jaguar and take up the MK17 and the upgrades (30round mag,long barrel...) because its one my main weapons. Sneak out and Fly to Ocoro and take up the 5.7 and M1911. But for me it was ok because i wanted it so.
So I was getting really good, got to Tier 4, in fact. I was in Koani and I jumped out a helicopter. There was more than enough space for me to get to the ground (2km high) jump. As soon as I jump out? I GET HIT BY HELICOPTER MID AIR AND FUCKING DIE I WAS SO MAD I BROKE THE DISK IN HALF.
If i start a new campaign mode and earn prestige creds from the tier mode will it contribute to the overall pretige creds i have or just that campaign mode? Also whatever i unlocked from the first campaign save i finished do i have to unlock it again in the 2nd campaign mode?
In ghost mode, you would earn the prestige creds thru tier one lvls n buchon takedown only once. No matter how many time you restart the campaign. N it contribute to your overall prestige creds. N you need to unlocked everything again in the campaign excepts those that you unlocked thru the store.
When are they going to make the LMGs viable? Also wouldn't it be good idea to have a grenade launcher as separate weapon? I hate to drag around an AR even though I would love to have an LMG and shotgun build. In Future Soldier when you completed the game you unlocked a grenade launcher in the secondary slot. I would love to have the ability to just whip out a grenade launcher like an equipment, like a drone or binoculars rather than it to be an attachment.
Hey Dally, did you run into any issues with certain parts or skins not unlocking? I'm Tier 1 in Ghost Mode, having completed everything, and it's not giving me the helmet or any piece in the blue/carbon skin. Have you heard about issues like that at all?
Have you tested ps4 vs Xbox1? Stats are wildly different on playing on xbox1,Sr 25 jungle stats have either been nerfed or they vary from console to console possibly. Looking at your tar21 stats versus what I have, your accuracy, handling and damage are way higher even when I have the best attachments, I am only at tier 35 but my tar21 is at level 7. Do the other stats go up as well as damage? Or do you think this is something you could look into?
I learned the hard way. Don’t drink and ghost mode. Also teaching myself not reload after every kill took a while

Haha same. I’ve found a good trick is to quickly switch to my side arm to interrupt the reload. Nothing will get you out of the habit of reloading too often like running out of bullets though. I also put a little of El Pozolero’s sosa caustica on my square button works a treat too.
I use a crossbow, reloading isn’t a problem and you can 1 hit most enemies
Avoid helicopters and ignore unidad unless is extremely necessary to kick their assess... otherwise avoid them like if they have the plague...

yeah man I don't fly anywhere unless I have to, and if I do then I make sure to fly high enough to parachute out if I get a missile lock. I'm not risking my entire game on my ability to out-maneuver a missile lol
The update had a bug in which the parachute wasn’t working and people just straight die because of it... I was like “no halo incursion,got it!” Lol
If things get crazy with unidad around I just fail the mission on purpose by shooting the key mission vehicle or person we need to keep alive. Restarts the mission quickly and can try it all again from a different angle. Better to mission fail than to die.

jobanh7ify yeah, and if you have/could really do to use a helicopter (like in the Sueño mission), then, FFS DON’T DEPLOY A DRONE FROM A HELICOPTER!!! I have died so many times to team mates deploying a drone AND IT DESTROYS THE HELI, EVERY TIME! It doesn’t matter where you are sat, it always destroys the heli.
Oh, and never fly over water because if the heli gets destroyed and instantly lands in water, it’s an insta kill! So frustrating!
I was so pissed I had 10+ hours of Ghost Mode and I was driving on a motorcycle when I crashed and went flying off a cliff landing on the roof of a building. My AI teammates couldn’t revive me so I died

I made it to level 29 once (on regular) and one of my pema-deaths was because I was walking around in the middle of the night, and fell off a cliff I did not see and got snagged on a ledge. T_T

Take your time in planning. Sometimes the Unidad engage the SB and you can just wait a little and sneak by, clear the few remaining enemies. And do missions during night, you can avoid having to kill most of the enemies if you scouted properly and know exactly what you need to do.
Dying after 20 hours of playtime is a disheartening thing, and very frustrating.
Dying because of a game glitch or weird game mechanic is even more frustrating.
I'm starting my 5th attempt on Advanced, no clouds and no HUD. I'm trying to be careful.
However, I do fear the game death caused by the game itself, and not me. That makes me angry.
Nevertheless, I really do enjoy this game, and so I guess I will keep trying. For now...
Turn difficult down. I was playing on extreme and after several restarts with several hours each. I said fuck it . you can turn hud off on an easier mode.

The first time I loaded ghost mode and got engaged by the enemy, I realized that at the very least, there needs to be wayyyyyyyy fewer checkpoints in other games, it makes the action 1,000 times more tense.
Also my ghosts only weakness seems to be getting run over by civilians and rebels lol
I got rid of my reloading habit because of ghost mode. I used to reload my weapon every time I took a shot. of course if you do that in ghost mode you'll be out of amo in 4 reloads :P
The question is why doesn't Ubisoft allow us to carry one weapon in normal mode?

My friends and I have been making our way through ghost mode on extreme difficulty. None of us really care about the exo-suit, but the challenge is fantastic. Up close and loud does not work in extreme period. Name of the game there is slow and steady. Our RoE is 10+ minutes of recon, then stealth takedowns and sniping. If the enemy calls for reinforcements and you have no line of retreat it is game over. As always, love your content man, looking forward to the rest of your series on ghost mode!

One of the biggest things I learned, is not to be afraid of retreating from bad situations. Even if it means a failed mission. Better to bail and try again than to die and start all over again.
Pretty much anytime I go down and need to be healed by teammates my first priority is find a way out of danger. No sense playing with fire down to your last strike, just fall back let everything reset and begin your approach again.
On my second GM playthrough, I was level 27, and I had all operations taken out, Suéno taken out, just needed level 30 and tier 1 left, but of course I died, got gangbanged by narco machinegunners and there was no cover anywhere..
Only just got into Wildlands, playing on the Steam Deck, loving it so far (about 20 hours in).

I’m doing the 5💀’s first to get them out of the way. But I’m loving the challenge of Ghost mode & it has changed the way I play, even in standard GRW. I’m still counting my rounds & not changing every 5 or 10 shots & I’m using my drone a lot more to do a reccy of my targets where as before I’d just go in & take down targets as i found them! Best tip though are two words: recon and evasion.

Evasion - always have exit plan. Sometimes it’s just run supress and flank!
I'm gonna get lynched for saying this but I use the SR-25 Jungle lmao. Just comforting knowing I have a cheesy weapon to swat vehicles with no effort. Feels bad but I just want all my rewards. Big tip don't change seats in a helicopter you'll die if you hit the ground hard enough so don't accidentally hit circle.
I used the SR-25 Jungle for the Koani mission where you have to destroy that convoy and kill Boquita. I didn't wanna mess with it, so just went one shot, one shot, one shot, done lol
I died as I tried to jump from a helicopter and the sam missile hit *me*.

I use the SR25 Jungle (and a Skorpion in the sidearm slot) for the missions where you have to hold off waves of enemies, like the hospital, hacking the Aqua Verde guest list computer, and all the mortar skill things. It's super fucking useful.
When you die, do all your skills reset as well? Do you have to go and work those from nothing?
I agree bullet resistance is important but so is detection and quiet running. You really wanna play stealthily in Ghost mode. Thermal vision and Flashbangs are also very important I think.
I think mines are really important. Make sure you don't get flanked, at least not immediately.

yeah there's a lot about ghost mode i didn't mention here. atm i'm just doing arcade to get full exo, and then i will be going over the mode with a fine toothed comb. as it is i've put like 30 hrs into it in 3 days to get where i am. add to that the time to make the videos and i'm rushing as fast as I can. thanks man :)

@@deliriumsrealm8619 It is not. You can choose any of the difficulties to play on. Until you enable Tier 1. Have you tried the Tar-21, ACP, or M4A1? Those are the go tos from what I've heard.
I like the TAR-21, but it's too loud suppressed, and if you're going loud anyways, there are harder hitting options. The M4 is a great option because it's among the quietest assault rifles when suppressed, and has decent range..
Great points dally. I would add the following...
1. Avoid helicopters, planes and motorcycles. They're buggy bullet magnets.
2. Semi-auto snipers and the G28 scope. Perfect for long range and close range.
3. Before starting missions, travel through different provinces upgrading all the rebel skills. You'll need them.

On my third ghost mode characters. Lost my first one when the ai wouldnt revive me at tier 27. Felt like losing a girlfriend tbh. Lost my second ambushed by unidad gunship at lvl 20. Now on my third, playing on arcade just to collect the suits.
@@silkychan6099 man that sucks. I recently lost a tier 30 profile for the same reason. Stupid teammates died to the unidad. Although it was also because i was on a motorcycle. Enemies can easily kill you when you're on a bike, so i'm only using cars from now on. the extreme sports car to be precise. I'm still however gonna keep playing on extreme.

@@silkychan6099 I still drive really fast. Even if you flip the car you'll be fine to get out of it. Just make sure you don't go off a mountain if your car is smoking, or better, just summon a new car. I only fly helicopters if it's to get the supplies or to take down a convoy. you know those rocket helicopters. I know where one spawns, but being able to summon one will be a lot more convenient. Just gotta get lucky with the crates. Oh and i just use prestige crates because they're free if you play ghost mode or progress in tiers.
@@infinitedeath1384 just a tip for convoy take down. Maybe u have heard of it. Get in front of the convoy route. Then use your drone to do rebel intel on the convoy to mark the convoy baddies. Then sync shot the driver of the truck. Make sure u do the shot when the convoy at least 200m from your position or else the remaining narcos will swamp your position. Then take out the remaining narcos. U will get the supply at its maximum level n minimal fuss.
I highly recommend using a crossbow when trying stealth, you only load in one bolt at a time so you don’t loose ammo, and it one shots most enemies ( dlc needed)
You can attach and detach suppressors at anytime even in Ghost mode, so I generally stick to a Standard Muzzle that I interchange with a suppressor depending on the range or engagement along with if my cover has been blown.
Their is no reason especially if your using an AR to not have access to a suppressor, I almost never use my pistol due to this little fact.
I still like to keep my weapons very grounded to reality so I tend to stick to the 416 and M4 both with Long Barrel, Standard Muzzle, APTAIL Laser, ACOG, 30rnd Magazine, and an M203.
A reason to not have an AR with a suppressor? The Compensators give you far better recoil control.

I tried that but didn't like the way they clip through the exo... but yeah, it does look good besides that.
It'd be nice if the exo suit had it's own custom melee animation.

Scariest part was chasing La Plaga through that tunnel, while trying not to crash the motorcycle
I figured out a cheesy way to kill him before he even leaves. First equip the emp drone then place it as close to the window as possible if done right La Plaga will get on the bike but wont leave because of the emp affecting the bikes. Then, just break down the door and shoot, grab him, or whatever else you want to do to him. I think you have 20-30 secs before the emp wears out, but Its been a long time since I checked time so test it on a vehicle first if you want.

1. Scouting & planning
2. Stealth (night) or loud if neccessary
3. If shit hits the fan, retreat
4. keep in mind how many shots you use
5. Use cover and don’t be out in the open
6. Use your surroundings for your benefit

Started playing this game again for the first time since 2017. Loving Ghost mode. I’ve died like 3 or 4 times. But I’m slowing getting better. I tend to 100% each province before moving onto the next. So I’ve conquered Itacua a fair amount of times. Your videos make me want to play more.
The M9 pistol is probably the best handgun for Ghost Mode, it does damage like an AR. At 50-100m, 6 body shots/2 headshots to kill an alert heavy SB, 3 body shots/1 headshot for an alert light SB, cut those numbers in half for close range, lower bullet drop than the fn57, more than the 1911, but it has a 25 round mag. You can get into shootouts with a PISTOL, and maintain some distance. It's absolute insanity.
I want to add in that if all your squadmates (AI team) are downed and it seems like the odds will not be in your favor: just quit to the main menu and restart the mission once in game.
Its really easy to become overconfident and think you can carry through (and there will be times where this is true) but its not always worth the risk and lose to permadeath.
Also the new proximity mines can be a huge godsend as a diversionary tactic to get out of a bad situation when inside some bigger outposts and bases.
Love the video. I ran the MDR unsuppressed the whole way. No hassles.
The missing Libertad mission is the rainbow six mission that starts in la Cruz and ends at the chemical Institute
they need to add the m1128 stryker to the game if possible it would be a cool apc to drive around it
or even m134 gatling gun suv
and a system where you can get your ai to drive you or pilot you anywhere across the map and allow you to be in the back seat on or the mg.
Im doing my second play-through on ghost mode ive been rocking the crossbow only it’s actually amazing the kind if play style it takes for it to work well
When it comes to ghost mode I’m just gonna redo missions like Boston reed over and over again because some are very easy and give ya tons of points

Currently finally trying Ghost Mode cause I had some time on my hand must say it´s the best GR experience so far for me taking it nice and slow due to tier mode and sync shooting the hell out of it with noisemaker and lures when i get to Missions like el muro or el pulpo i admit turning of tier mode cause shit always will hit the fan :) I played Breakpoint to a point but it just did not have the right feel for me so I will play this until everything is unlocked or what I can achieve. I personally went for the second chance skill first and then stealth skills like running detection and resistances and of course lvl up the drone by taking out escorts and air resource missions I was something around lvl 15 before I finished the first region due to finding skill points in places like Monte Punco or La Cruz and gearing up my prefered weapons. TY for your uploads and affection you have for this game. In my opinion this ist the best game out of Ubisoft
Hey for anyone on ps4 just a heads up you can save your game on PS+ every so often and when you die restore it to where you never died when your save file gets deleted
so my advice for y’all is for sure to always avoid helicopters and planes as possible, travel by car (no motorcycles) or fast travel as much as possible to avoid conflict, then always drone and mark every enemy when going into a mission, if you’re defending a point mines, proximity mines and c4 are your best friend along with grenade launchers, the the first upgrade go for your medic drone, also if you have friends who play this game play with them and only play with them because your ai sometimes glitch out and don’t revive you
When my whole team goes down I just quit the game and load it back up.
My first death in ghost mode came after easily 30+ hours of gameplay. I'd unlocked most of the weapons & kit in the game, & had all my important skills unlocked. I went down during a firefight, and was waiting for a revive when my game froze. When I loaded back up, it said I'd died. 😒
My second death came on a weird chopper crash while landing to ambush a convoy, about 10 hours in.
Here's why I still run a supressed assault rifle (usually the ACR, if you're wondering; started using it for the first time on my first ghost mode attempt, and absolutely fell in love with it. Up til that point, I'd been doing like you, and using a modifiable DLC weapon-specifically, the M16): after the shit hits the fan, with a supressed rifle, you can drop your immediate threats, relocate, and flank any additionals without starting a full-scale war you're more likely to die in.
Apart from that, good stuff!

Best advice I can give is ignore missions and farm medals and make your gun you want.
I chose to challenge myself a little by not running ghost mode in Arcade, and went with regular instead.
I'm still trying to play somewhat stealthy though so going loud is a challenge for me.
I'm running it in Arcade so I can get through it to show you guys this stuff. I wouldn't have many interesting videos restarting every day. as it is I put like 10 hours a day into playing just to make a vid. lol keep that in mind. once i get full exo i will be going tier mode and keep going.
And that's fair enough too. Whatever gets you the content the best way. :)

I finished the story with 96% completion and it took me 26 hours. I died because my teammates glitched out and wouldn’t move when I was bleeding out doing the Rainbow Six Siege side mission after I activated Tier One Mode. Fuck this game.
I played high risk. I started at itacua and climbed through the skulls in order saving the heads for last followed by sueno. Went down twice in the playthrough but never died. Completed in around 25 hours and one attempt. Also level thirty for the chrome blue playthrough
Playing ghost mode on regular with no teammates and some hud options off including minimap and im loving it. Never played wildlands till ghost mode came out and it sounded right up my street. Also playing ghost mode with a mate too. :)
I just finished Knocking out security! I should've paid attention that I only get the boots for it though, haha. On to influence next!

Damn, how do you guys do it so fast? F! Didn’t you just start playing again last week? It took me two months to complete this game... with MULTIPLE deaths. I started Ghost Mode but I’ve been super careful and taken full advantage of sync shot, rebel ops and the drone as soon as I can. We’ll see, but the chance of me getting a GOLD exosuit is between slim and “fat chance, noob!” Love your stuff, DD, keep it coming.

Hey dude, im runing gosht mod only in expert and my setting is m4a1 for close range, mk 17 is my all way weapon (really nice to snipe under 300m), and as darkdally point it any handgun is fine, just aim for the head. Hope thats help

However, I don’t have ghost mode yet myself,’it looks interesting, most certainly a new breath of life for the game. In any case, I do have a question, I’m not fully versed in the different rigs, plate carriers and the like. Thus, I’m wondering what the average infantry would. Something heavier like the IBA? Or something like the Molly? I know, that’s rather narrow, I just wanted to create a new character. Now, with that, I want the aforementioned character’s outfits to match up with real world counterparts!

I knocked ghost mode out with the 5.7 which right from the beginning of the game is a quick run. For primary I ran the sr25 liberator. The g28 scope is a 4x and a red dot. Beat it all on regular except making to tier 1. I died at tier 33
I like using M4A1 fully upgraded parts (finding all the parts helps level you up a bit) and a 5.7. (Might go for something quieter later)
So I'm actually trying to do Gjost Mode myself. Definitely getting better at kicking my reloading habit, and I'm usually using the LVOA with an Acog that way I can keep a long range rifle, and the Blacklist 5.7 (the Sam Fisher one), just cuz it looks more appealing than the rest cuz I'm honestly not a fan of the squared can on em.

The Exoskeleton armour looks pretty sweet , i have the Phantom mask from the 'day of the skull' dlc which i brought probably the best mask in the game imo .
I just completed the whole campaign and now I just need to get 2 more tiers to get to tier 1 and get the gold camo

Avoid also the climbing cliffs. You never know the glitch. Your character might fall into the abyss.
I went through most of the Ghost mode with SC4000 and blacklist pistol(which is actually silenced). and only few times I switched to heavy sniper+smg to kill helicopters :D
probably the mist useful tip will be for this mod: avoid Planes, Motocycles, and helicopters if possible (heli cuz you can clip through textures on landing)
Helos also can hit you with the rotors if you parachute out.

I like ghost mode, because it's a video game again. I remember playing some old school video games and when I ran out of lives it was game over. Start from the beginning again. Save points make us weak.
And you can die very easily in arcade mode. Just walk off a cliff, get hit by a car, S.A.M., C4 yourself, online friendly fire, spawn a vehicle on your head, fall through the map, power outage during an auto-save, pick a fight with the unidad at to low of a level, and overconfidence (remember this people COMPLACENCY KILLS)

Oh yes and i used Helis all the time i don't see the problem with them i guess i'm to good... nah but if you have trouble with it leave them alone
And yes start in koani these are easier missions to level up fast
Focus on playing with an Ar with an grenade launcher if the game spams patrols just flup them with it
Its also very usefull for la cabra's coke Missions

I was playing the game for my second time in ghost mode and got killed by my squad and the rebels.
I was assaulting an unidad base silently. I went through perfect and there was only one unidad left and let out some rebels, they started shooting at the unidad INSTANTLY and missed everything. he called reinforcements I held out for a while but then I wanted to get out. So I got in a helicopter... but one of my squad mates was in the middle of throwing a grenade at the unidad but he dropped the grenade at his feet while getting in the heli. Causing it to blow up. I survived until I got out of the heli and got shot by an uni.
I was PISSED to say the least.
I'm in ghost mode tier mode will have gold soon .
I play tactical and the key is to get skills and increase your drone and body and rebel skills ,sync shoots.
Also I fly helicopters everywhere even to el sueno . My setup is hk 416 and five seven .I setup like a dmr 416 various sights grips and then gl .
Also ghost mode glitches are bs had a major glitch 1 character was lost save randomly deleted and died on my 2nd but could still use my character. I saved the death screen photo but character wasn't deleted and using him now.
What I learned playing GM in Advanced
1- *ALWAYS* , *ALWAYS* upgrade your bullet resistance and teammates first , IT'S NO GOOD HAVING NADES AND AMMO IF YOU'RE DEAD
2- Ammo , *ALWAYS GET FLASHBANGS AND AMMO* , It'll help doing Rebel Operations and overall are very useful
3- *GET EMP AND MEDICAL DRONES FIRST* , Emp helps you in basically raiding everywhere and medic keeps you alive .
4- *GET THE P227 and ANY MODULAR RIFLE LIKE THE ACR OR MK17* , You have only 2 guns , make sure they're the best
5 - Upgrade your characters sillent run , it will help in the future , trust me
6 - Get the advanced supressor ability , *NEVER , NEVER EVER STOP USING A SUPRESSOR ON ADVANCED OR (If you're a madman) EXTREME*
7- WHEN IN TROUBLE , DON'T HESITATE , CALL THE REBELS IMMEDIATELY ,AND MAKE SURE TO HIDE AND HAVE A GREAT WEAPON FOR CQB
You know, on the Sueno mission, I couldn’t drive fast enough or make it without dying so what I did was park a heli at the top of the hill near Bowen’s shack and I placed mines where the rebels pop up after the cutscene BEFORE entering the shack to trigger the cutscene. After the scene, I jump in one the parked suvs and beeline it up the hill to the heli. Then I fly low over the water right to the mausoleum and land at the door. Well, “land” is a loose term. Then I run in before those guys at the entrance get me. Now, what happens after THAT cutscene is usually bad, the doormen are waiting for me but I did manage to basejump out of there on my replay to unlock the second ending. It’s risky but it’s fast. I’ve gotten from Bowen to Sueno in three minutes this way. Yet, she still manages to beat me to him 🤔
CyberJay1226 I’ve always asked myself that question how does she get there so fast does she have some quantum break abilities where she can freeze time and travel there and release the time rift or something
Just lost my tier 30 character landing a helicopter clipped a rock and instadeath I had most of my skills and rebel upgrades unlocked and only the production wing left. I played on extreme I don’t think I’m going to play ghost mode anymore
Does the ghost mode armor provide any benefits or is it just cosmetic?
i just start in itaqua and then work my way out and do the different areas from the easyest to the harder

Darkdally Just playing devil’s advocate, but wouldn’t attacking the most difficult missions first leave you more likely to die because you have no skills(initially anyway?). Not sure I understand the ‘go loud’ approach that you seem fond of either. To me suppression is one of your biggest strategic benefits. I get your point when you’re approaching it like you do, but you’ve missed several issues. Firstly, if you’re only having teammates snipe for you then you’re much more likely to be detected as you don’t know where they’re firing from, they usually use the FN SCAR-H(Mk 17 in-game I think) which is not a quiet weapon, and you’re mostly going to have to get pretty close to the alarms if you’re planning on taking them all out with a pistol. I find using a silenced sniper rifle from far out a much easier method of disabling alarms and any annoying stragglers too. You can then pick up an enemy weapon or change your load out if the shit hits the fan when you’re inside the base you’re attacking. You’re basically needing to up your penetration because you’re constantly going loud, so you’re creating your own problem. I also disagree about your point distribution and most important skill. The most important skill is Last Chance. Getting that extra down is invaluable. If you’re pulling your weight in the squad they shouldn’t all be going down very often at all, especially as you put points into their effectiveness(Squad Resilience and Born Leader). I’d also hazard a guess that playing the way you have been will not translate at all in Tier Mode, and I think it’s best to train yourself to play how you would under the worst circumstances. If you just want the armour, cool, but to me Ghost Mode is about the journey, not the destination. We asked for these features for more immersion, not more odd cosmetic rewards. I’d understand if the armour actually gave you added protection to aid you in Tier Mode or something, but the need to plan in advance, to work on strategy, and simply just slogging it out to get those skills that you need for longevity in the game is what’s reinvigorated the game for me. If you’re skilled enough to reach Tier 1(which I’ve seen you do) you can at the very least approach the game on Regular or Advanced if you really want a challenge straight off the bat. Starting the game with only the guns and equipment available and the shirt on your back in Ghost Mode is easily the most exhilarating experience I’ve had since finishing the original Dark Souls. With great risk comes great reward.
There should be a system as to if your main character dies you can take over a team mates life
i am doing the on the hardest mode darkdailly - yes i knw i dont need to do it on the hard mode - but i got the time - so i am doing the ghost mode more quiet way - but liked your videos :)

My first steps in Ghost most was so
Start game Chance P416 to GRFS ACR and take a chopper and fly to Flor de Oro!
De activate AI team mates and sneak into the Base Jaguar and take up the MK17 and the upgrades (30round mag,long barrel...) because its one my main weapons.
Sneak out and Fly to Ocoro and take up the 5.7 and M1911.
But for me it was ok because i wanted it so.

PSA: helicopters have been fixed in ghost mode use the ones with missiles for missions where you need to destroy things
are you shure that if you die you keep the ecoskeleton parts you already unlocked or do you have to reach a certain degree?

I find myself always trying to get to where I can get downed multiple times
So I was getting really good, got to Tier 4, in fact. I was in Koani and I jumped out a helicopter. There was more than enough space for me to get to the ground (2km high) jump. As soon as I jump out? I GET HIT BY HELICOPTER MID AIR AND FUCKING DIE I WAS SO MAD I BROKE THE DISK IN HALF.
If i start a new campaign mode and earn prestige creds from the tier mode will it contribute to the overall pretige creds i have or just that campaign mode? Also whatever i unlocked from the first campaign save i finished do i have to unlock it again in the 2nd campaign mode?
In ghost mode, you would earn the prestige creds thru tier one lvls n buchon takedown only once. No matter how many time you restart the campaign. N it contribute to your overall prestige creds. N you need to unlocked everything again in the campaign excepts those that you unlocked thru the store.
Ghost mode tactic 101: Weapon Loadout= Crossbow and Five Seven Blacklist. Cartel takedown= 1. Traffic 2. Production 3. Influence 4. El Sueno 5. Security.
When are they going to make the LMGs viable? Also wouldn't it be good idea to have a grenade launcher as separate weapon? I hate to drag around an AR even though I would love to have an LMG and shotgun build. In Future Soldier when you completed the game you unlocked a grenade launcher in the secondary slot. I would love to have the ability to just whip out a grenade launcher like an equipment, like a drone or binoculars rather than it to be an attachment.
Hey Dally, did you run into any issues with certain parts or skins not unlocking? I'm Tier 1 in Ghost Mode, having completed everything, and it's not giving me the helmet or any piece in the blue/carbon skin. Have you heard about issues like that at all?
Have you tested ps4 vs Xbox1? Stats are wildly different on playing on xbox1,Sr 25 jungle stats have either been nerfed or they vary from console to console possibly. Looking at your tar21 stats versus what I have, your accuracy, handling and damage are way higher even when I have the best attachments, I am only at tier 35 but my tar21 is at level 7. Do the other stats go up as well as damage? Or do you think this is something you could look into?
