I think the cabinet should be covered with fabric to save weight and expense. Very impressed with your efforts. You are ready to graduate to a bigger one.
Thanks! Ahh, yeah, I ended up liking the space less with the high top/shelf. It’s useful in many ways, but it makes the space feel much smaller. Or maybe I’m overthinking it, as usual. 😅
Awesome! I'm highly considering buying a 2011 XLT to convert. It has 150k tho, which scares me a bit. How did your engine run? How was the power and acceleration in the mountains? Steep inclines?
That I recall, it ran great except on a rare occasion, it would stop accelerating. It’d only maintain the current acceleration power. So if it happened when I was going up hill, I’d gradually lose speed all the way up whatever mountain. 😅 Again, this was rare, but it did happen multiple times. I know others who had a Connect and never spoke of an issue like this. I’m trying to remember how many miles mine had. I think once I was done with it, it was around 130K ish. When I was shopping, it was important to me to get a lower mileage one. I believe mine started out with about 90K which I felt more comfortable with than the more common ~160K+ ones I’d see for sale. It had some get-up. Plenty of power. I had a couple random issues: a hole in the floor from either old age or a spill (a permanently placed round piece had become gooey and easily removeable) had to seal that up, window switches went out and had to be replaced, check engine light permanently on, really squeaky doors (I learned the hard way that you shouldn’t lubricate them to cure that (it does cure the squeak but causes the door to not maintain it’s placement - it just swings back closed on you when ya want it open, unless the angle of the van is in your favor)). Overall, I’d say it was good! Had some used-vehicle flaws, but it worked. (:
@@NikitaCrump im thinking abt doing a cross country trip in my high mileage 2013 but not sure if it can handle the passes with about 8500 elevation that i would have to travel through. What type of hills/elevation were you driving when your car cut out or??? Im nervous but enticed to do it so idk!!
@@NikitaCrump I’m curious why you built the van but you choose to continue living in your civic? I’ve been watching your videos periodically for a while now. This is something I’ve been wondering. I haven’t seen all of your videos so I’m not sure if you’ve already addressed this. I really like the idea of this lifestyle and I wish you the best! Sending love from Maryland ~♥️
@@NikitaCrump I am all for your travels, It's good to watch you succeed! But I will forever remember that you put a carbon monoxide detector in your car because you'd thought you would suffocate. :) I honestly don't remember much about it, except it was hilarious when you realized. :0
So impressive. I needed my dad's help and it was still hard so big props to you!
It was a challenge for sure, but I’m so proud of what I was able to accomplish. Thank you so much!
@@NikitaCrump as you should be :)
It’s actually pretty half assed.

Ugh-mazing thanks!
Thank you!
@@NikitaCrump this is my new goal in life keep posting please I need to learn everything I can
I like the kitchen, but that's a high top one, because I wasn't able to get that amount of clearance in the shelf over the seats in my connect...
Thanks!

Wait is your van the same model as the Gabby van?
It is
She is ready to survive a walking dead episode. EMPOWERED
Haha thank you! I like to think I’m resourceful and handy enough to make it through a few seasons. (:
Very happy for u.

Very impressive. Nice job. I been thinking about doing this for a while now. Are you selling your van for a bigger one?
Thank you! And yes, I am. (: Hoping for a high-roof Transit.
@@NikitaCrump Hope you are able to get it.
Bigger and better exclamation did you film this at Cal Expo LOL
Ya know, I’ve wondered what it’s like over there. I’ve never been.
(I hesitated to say “better” haha)
says the girl who felt comfy in her car wanting a bigger van but love it how much you selling it for
Are you selling the van as is and starting from scratch in the new one?
I am!
Why you selling the van and not the car?
Is that a mini microwave on the counter? if yes... must get one! thank you
Idk why she didn’t answer but it is a toaster oven. I think it’s part of the dash mini line
She’s super cute
Why are you selling your van??
I explained in the video (:
Can you please share the name of the mini toaster oven? The link to Amazon doesn't work. TIA!
I think that may be because they don’t have it on Amazon anymore; I can’t locate it. It’s by “Dash” (:
@@NikitaCrump gosh, this looks not complete without shower/closet room. I guess it's pretty uncomfy to search for the place to wash and poo everytime
I’m thinking of buying a connect as well, how many miles were on yours when you got it?
I believe 116K
👽 🛸
Tylerrrrr! Hi!
what is that cute little yellow thing on your counter???
It's a teeny "oven" made by Dash!
Wait did I miss the video of your selling your car? How much was this van?
The van is $14k
I didn’t sell my car - I still live in it! (Would probably never sell it 💘)
