Hi beautiful people this is our OLD HOUSE TOUR, we promised to upload once we moved. So here is it ❤️
Can't wait for the new house tour ❤❤❤❤ Happy New Year guys.
PS: new RUclipsr here making educative videos for kids. Please check it out for Sophie and Micah...
Congrats guys we hope this me new house will be great for your needs happy new year!
Is your 'old house' now available to rent...??? If so, pls let me know...!!! (I know someone who could be interested.)
Nice house, what material is your living room ceiling made of?
Can't wait when our family finally move.. we've been planning for over 3 years!
I can tell you are living large. It looks like I'm watching MTV cribs with the rich celebrities. God bless your marriage and family!
Nice house. Anyone moving to a tropical country look for houses with a high ceiling. It keeps it way cooler than the normal ceiling heights.
On the flip side, changing broken light bulbs becomes a very big hassle. Renting ladders just to fix broken light bulbs will be a pain in the ass.
@@stephenfrank9735 lol it can be but we used the wall lights as opposed to ceiling lights and also natural sky light . Many ways around the high bulb situation.
Renting such houses in Accra isn't easy..I pray you get yourself a land soon and build your own house.
Those for sale are less expensive
@@QueenzyQuanz Yes, what is the average price?
WOW this is not they show us on tv here in states about Africa Amazing Home!!! God Bless u All.
That’s true,my son said the same thing to,when we visit my hometown in Gambia 🇬🇲
A hint my home inspector gave me about jetted tubs that had been used by the previous homeowners. Fill the tub up with water, pour in bleach and run the jets. This way you can clear out any oils, skin cells, etc from the previous owners.
The Jesus statue would look great with a little brown paint for the face and beautiful colors for the robe. 😊
definitely...cover it with a blanket or paint it BLACK!!! its an european propaganda figure!!!
Well said my dear,, they should break it down this white jesus
It’s so random to have that if front of a house
Dark brown face and kente robe might be a good touch😊
It's an idol tear it down
I like her energy and communication skills. Very relaxed. Ladies men are easy just communicate. You don’t have to shout or fight. Just relax and communicate. 😃
Nice house, did he say the kitchen is too big 🤣, No kitchen is too big for me ooooh. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mrs. Acheampong Ghana is really bringing your beauty out and making you shine
Really nice, I guess part of the reasons you moved to Ghana is being able to afford such space and lifestyle cos as we all know this same space with pool in the western world will burn a bigger hole in ya pocket, not to mention the stress that comes with it.
Ghana is lot more expensive bro
@@raphaelkartey1660 correction, not entire Ghana.
@@raphaelkartey1660 I agree. It is in sense that so much has to be paid up front out of pocket. Where in the West things can be paid in payments
@@smd4751 in the so called west, how much rent a month do u think u have to pay for this in NY or Toronto or London?
@@AMANFIFARMS Oh a lot more of course. I don't have to guess. But they are over pricing things there period. The median income in Ghana is not that of western nations and you know that. In NY, Toronto or London, they don't make you pay 1 to 2 years rent up front bc of the credit system. And it’s not the “so called west”. There’s nothing “so called” about it. It’s just a different system.
Thats the pool where the Acheampongs taught WodeMaya to swim!!! Very funny video!
That's not a house. That's an empire 🏛️
😎
Sophie is a natural. Hope that you all have settled in your new awaited house.
Enjoyed your tour. 🥰
Some people have mentioned on the comment section that houses in ghana look cold and not cozy. One reason given for that was that the houses are made from concrete. I have to say on the one hand I do agree with the comments that alot of the houses showcased on you tube do look cold and depressing, but it's not because they are made from concrete. I love houses and real estate. I'm even building myself and have done a few times. I've also seen a few show homes here in ghana of top quality builds that are made of concrete. My conclusion is, is that a lot of homes have poor designs, so it doesn't bring out the best in the final finished look of the home, often the rooms are a bog standard square, with bog standard square Windows. Also the finishing materials are often of poor quality, e.g., tiles, paint, fixtures and fittings, which also adds to the coldness of the finished look. I've noticed that a lot of architects or builders care nothing about bringing natural light into the home. It is not a priority . This also adds to the cold look of the final product. There are homes here that are built to an international standard, unfortunately most of them are not showcased on you tube. That's why when I build I make sure all these negative elements I've pointed out are eliminated. Oh yes and burglar proofs on Windows do not help .
You are correct the home feels large. The reasoning you stated is very understandable in regards to construction and the end product. Since you are a builder do you have websites that we could see more international standard homes? That would also be nice to see.
International or Western standards are not always the best or even preferred in an African setting.
If you look at traditional Ghanaian architecture, the homes are mostly cool & dark. People want to escape the heat after a long day, not let it in.
Shade, good air circulation, security & insect prevention are of a much higher priority in this context than natural light, especially when sunshine is readily available almost year round.
Large windows are also robbery magnets. Most residential buildings bar windows with metal as an extra security precaution. For the average person it’s more affordable to add those metal bars to an average sized window than floor to ceiling glass just to let light in.
@@Miidi8787 sorry but I think we have to beg to differ. All those reasons you stated for having that cold depressing finish ,can be achieved without having that cold look finish. Construction in Ghana has really moved on, especially in the last 15 yrs and having a cool, secure building can be achieved without small Windows, burglar proof etc. I just think a lot more builders need to be more creative with there designs .
@@kehindeemiabata4032 I agree with you. Watching these house tours makes me so grateful that I'm from SA, and our architecture and interior design is really top notch. Other African countries are yet to see the value and beauty of natural light plus green space on the outside instead of paving everywhere.
@@PaballoMo yes I agree with you. Although the reasoning behind why people in Accra or other parts of Ghana, not all parts, is because of our climate. It is easier to maintain grass in S.A. because of your climate
13:53 Wow Mrs Acheampong is athletic.
I just cant stop smiling watching this video, happy for you
Yeah my mom shipped a upholstered bed and memory foam mattress before we went back home to Ghana. I’m so glad she did, because mattresses in Ghana are so hard 😂😂😂😩
I understand why you struggled getting a new place. This one was wow!
So many space it makes one feel free! Also you brought a lot of suitcases back then with you guys ☺️🤩🤩
Welcome back guys nice to see you again and happy new year, A year of blessing and happiness 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

They had this house when they moved to Ghana. Before their RUclips became big even.
The first part of your comment though. How rude!!

Happy New Years to the Acheampong family!
Mrs. Acheampong looking soooo beautiful I clicked quick.
Where was Kevin's cartwheel 😄
Happy New Year 💓
nice home guys, Mrs. Acheampong don't worry you will soon build your own house by God's will. Happy new year to the family. Greetings from Dublin, Ohio.
This is massive. The living room alone needs at least 6 ACs. 12 suitcases 🧳😁. 5 bedrooms 😥... you can choose to by soft mattress. Nice video
A very nice home..houses in africa have very large bedrooms .this is a big mansion considering that you have a family . the tour was quite helpful..great job..Anna and Kevin
Love you guys..putting the best face forward💚💚
No not all of them do. Some have very small rooms.
@@smd4751 which part of Africa are you cos a very very small rooms in an African mansion? Naanot true
@@louisaszone1795 Ghana. No not in the mansions, obviously they have bigger rooms. I was stating that not all of the homes in Ghana have large rooms. I've also seen homes (still that are nice) that have small spaces. He made a general statement that houses in Africa have very large rooms. That’s not true. It depends on the home.
Yay they’re back. You have been missed. Happy new year to you fam!
Happy new year fam
@@AnnaAcheampong the house is spacious and looks good too. Glad you found your dream home, can’t wait for a tour or a video about how you found it. Imagine living in this house here in Europe, you’d have to be a celebrity or wealthy.
The new house must be way better i hope because this one is pretty much nice ✌🇬🇭✌. Thanks for sharing
That is really a big house with enough space that’s the beautiful thing about africa.
I remember you said the house was too big now i can see it myself
Wow the house is very big and beautiful living your best life in Ghana

The Acheampong family have a lovely home.
It’s so big as well as a beautiful view.
Big up to Kevin and Anna Acheampong and their lovely home.
I tell you something Acheampongs when I was in Accra forty one years ago, for the first time it was so uplifting, big houses, hotels, markets and schools.
Kevin and Anna my brother and sister couple all the best🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
THAT WAS A MANSION. HOW MUCH WAS THE RENTAL ON THAT?
THAT IS A HELL OF A HOUSE IN THE WEST... MOST EATERIES THERE ARE SMALLER THAN YOUR OLD KITCHEN. SO YOUR NEW PLACE WILL BE -- THE PRESIDENTIAL PALACE??? :-)
Hey Anna...I really like you...you make your Audience feel like we know each other...engaging...everyone needs you as a Best Friend....free spirit.
🥰
I'm so happy your husband is falling in line with you. Happy family happy wife
You are renting a Mansion. That house is huge. Usually, homes that have taller ceilings are cooler homes. I wonder if the house is so hot because of the way it is built. When I lived in Atlanta my house had very tall ceilings and I did not have to use so much energy to cool the house. That house is very nice. If you owned it you could have put more furniture in it to make it more homely. You could have created a lounge area in your bedroom since it is so big, that is what we do.
Mr Acheampon I love your African fashion, the fabric is superb.
Happy New Year to you all 🎆🥳🍾🎊❤️Wishing you all divine blessings and hopefully reaching 50K subscribers and beyond 😊😊😊
I love the house. the space and everything in it. I have saved this video for my next house project.
Beautiful 😻 the kitchen and pool area are my favorites
Girl, you look so good in this dress 💥
Thank you acina 🥰
Hi Acheampong family. I just had to pause the video and comment on your beautiful matching fashion compliments your old house. Love Kevin's top and Anna's dress 👗🏡😍
Thank you very much 🥰
Anna I love your personality. You've definitely got the Ghanaian sense of humour
Waoo this called Acheampong palace

Sophia is proud of her new house
Sophia is blij in haar nieuw huis 😃
This is the old house
The kitchen is really big. I love it,
Been waiting for this tour!❤️
The houses is gorgeous
I love it thank you for bringing my attention
Wow, it’s like a palace with so much space to spare - the children must have loved the space but it’s a tad too big You say you’ve lived there for 11 months? Did I hear that right? My goodness, that’s amazing to hear! I like the furniture 🪑 especially the suite. Houses like that in the Uk would set you back over a million pounds - it’s huge!!! Can we swap? Can I have your old property and you can have my small, cold house which you can have plenty of opportunities to cool off!
I
Well, at least you’ve got your new dream home to move in now, despite what’s actually happening in the world 🌎 I’m genuinely pleased for you. Happy New Year 🎈🎊
Love that master bathroom and that it has storage space as well as that amazing spa bath. Nice! That is a huge house though a lot of space and upkeep.
Absolutely lovely to see! You will get your dream house - keep on going for gold : )

How many of you paused the video to count the 12 suitcases? 😂😂😂
This house is just amazing! So large and beautiful. I would like to see houses in Kumasi that are available for rent and how much they cost. I hope you guys find a suitable place soon. x
You're an awesome family🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. You two are a great couple; your love for each other is so infectious. Clearly you guys are soulmates. I love you all. May you continue to live your best life each day.❤❤❤❤❤
Africa is the best place to be. Well done for having the courage to come back home.👍

I really really really like this couple... They look like brother and sister ...this is like i don't want them to sleep in the same bed until i see the ID 😂😂
That's a whole mansion with a lot of space, you guys are really lovely and active
Happy for you.
May the almighty God continue to bless you more and more in Jesus Christ name Amen.
I am jealous..:( but happy for you and the children's sake! But the house needs plants...!
I love watching you guys! This is a beautiful house! We are looking for a similar place to rent when we vacation in Ghana, so maybe if you have some time, you can advise us on some vacation rental properties in Ghana.
I like the fabric and the design of the outfits you guys are wearin'! 👌👏😍
Nice house in Ghana.Only rich people can afford such a house in Holland/Europe. You are now rich in Ghana. You know that the houses are very tiny in Holland.Enjoy your rich life there. This life is for rich people in Europe.A dream.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
The matching clothes was a flex😻

oh how I love to see my brothers and sisters prosper and "get over on the game". More power to you two and don't let no one interfere w/ your progress and/or the blessings from the "Above" - aka: the 'Source" that never stops giving ... oh btw, the crib looks lit/swank!
Wow this is a beautiful house. I'm tired here in the UK. I need to move to Africa!
Welcome back for the new year. Thanks for sharing this wonderful tour. Based on your pinned comment, I presume the family has decided on your new home. Looking forward to that tour. 🥰
The pool area is nice. Great place to relax.
You guys are living large 😂☝🏽❤️ we all are coming home soon 🥂
Beautiful house! I love the kitchen, thanks for sharing, glad you're enjoying your stay in Ghana 😘😘😘❤❤❤
Hi Achampongs, can you do a vlog on prices on building swimming pools in Ghana please?
Très beau couple , et belle maison . quand j’irai en chez moi en Côte d’Ivoire, je ferai un tour chez vous au Ghana ! 😂
This has nothing to do with the house but I just watched this new show Bridgerton on Netflix and the lead actor looks identical to Kevin the likeness is crazy! Anna If you seen it let me know if you agree lol!
I’ll go ant watch 🥰
I agree 😊
the dutch trait never fails in height.. you are relly tall.. looks nice
i like your outfits, so beautiful, its the best i have seen so far.
Mom & daughter cartwheeling 😍
Beautiful house! It's quite spacious though!
Wow! I love this house.❤❤ It's just perfect for you guys. Well done👍🏾🥂
Beautiful house! I don't understand why they key building houses with concrete in Africa. Concrete is not suitable for hot places. Concrete for foundation, and the rest of the house should be with rammed earth, earth-bags or earth bricks. Acheampong Fam if you are building your own house consider going with rammed-earth or earth-bags, then you will have a better inner climate, a passive cooled house. :)
God continue to bless you every one deserves to be happy especially when they worked hard
Loveeeee that kitchen 🤎🤎🤎 thanks for sharing family
Thank you for sharing! Million dollar question is, what did this cost you guys in rent? Utility bills? Cooling that space had to be expensive? What were the nights like in that space, did it cool a bit, was it comfortable enough to sleep without sweating all night!
The only thing I'm intersted in. But I see no reply anywhere
I wonder so too!
You won't know. They are quite private. Lol
@@YouStillNeedToSleep If they want more subscribers they you'll have to star answering questions! You can't be 2 private if you want to be a successful RUclipsr. After all what's the point of this?
Wow I saw French writings on the wall nice to know the kids love French😊 hope you guys visit Cameroon and speak in French
