Looking mighty fine Daniel...never known a week like last week...no sunshine whatsoever...but dry,had to give my lawn a little drink towards the end of last week
Cheers Carl. I saw someone else on social media watering their lawn last week! It's crazy. Think it's forecast to stay dry a but longer but get colder over the weekend
Lovell not so great. Finished surfacing the roads whilst I was in vegas. No GP, that's in a few weeks. Very much a fan of the Angus liquid iron from greencare. No blocking of the sprayer with this!
@TheReelMowingMowingClub I have one, great mowers mate and 8 blade, tricky to adjust the cylinder to bottom blade though as cams on both sides with nits you rotate on the cross bar. You will love it🥳🥳🥳🥳
Viva last Vegas baby🤣🤣Love Vegas, hope you saw Elvis while you were there😂😂😂What mower was that in your cctv, wasnt the webb weh12r🤔Thought you were going to blow all those leaves onto the road for a second😂😂😂lawns looking fantastic mate for this time of year. Back has filled out great now mate🎉🎉🎉.
@TheReelMowingMowingClub I was there in 1996, won about £300 on a quarter slot machine in one of the casinos so bought a ticket to see Tom Jones who was playing at the MGM grand. Fantastic mate, bet you loved it there, but the ladies of the night were a problem walking the streets. Got on my nerves after being constantly asked🤣🤣🤣
@markslade9722 was there for work. Been going every year since 2017. Rather stay at home these days. Had a drive down the strip once, and that's as far down the strip i got
@TheReelMowingMowingClub hope you have been to see the grand canyon at some point in the years you have been going there, and the hoover dam and lake mead. Weather is fantastic there also. We went to death Valley also while there🔥🔥🔥🔥When I was there they were filming con air on the strip with nicolas cage.
On a different note, I have mainly rye grass. I used some winter liquid feed and some other winter products from DHLE. Grass looked great, then all of a sudden, some grass seemed to wilt and turn black and disappear. After 5 years of maintaining grass this is the first this has happened. The grass is now extremely patchy and thin. Have you experienced anything like this, cause and cure for future reference so it doesn't happen again?
Hi Karl. Not used DHLE stuff for a long time. Best to reach out to him. All I can do is guess that you have used the Galactic Green which is his iron based product on a higher rate? I have over applied iron on my lawn in the past and it was super dark, with some areas being almost black. It did recover in time after a few cuts but this was in summer and not winter
@TheReelMowingMowingClub Thanks for the information. I can't remember using the galactic. I use the bare minimum of any of his products due to the price of them lol
My front lawn has disease all over it. I'm going to try iron on Thursday. Do you need to water it all all if it stays dry for a few days after? I used some make it strong 3 days ago. Its not done too much yet. How often do you apply the make it strong this time of year?

Think today is the start of it Dan....bloody freezing last night
les feuilles faut les maitre chez le voisin 🤣🤣🤣 une personne de plus qui rotofil les feuille dans la poubelle
Nice to see another vid, back lawns getting there. Do you leave the grass a bit longer in winter?
Thanks Rich. Did you spot the error ?? :D I'll see how it goes. Holding up well at 20mm so far,
What's your preferred iron product and are you hanging around for the GP? PS our house was Lovell, I think they left the spirit levels in the cabins

Blockages bug me too. As for F1 I thought you'd blagged a work jolly 😮
Looks like a Webb witch with it's chain guard off there mate on your left lawn CCTV footage, you finally gone vintage British engineering🥳🥳🥳
Yup. Picked up a series 5 a few weeks ago. Wanting to refurb it over winter

Green Care have ICL Proturf Autumn (12-5-20) on offer, if anyone needs Autumn fertiliser 👍
Not a bad shout. Bit high on the N values going into winter though?

This is just me Dan but i would have left the Iron sulphate on the leaf for a few days before cutting it again
Hi Geoff. I would have done too but most of the product should have been absorbed into the leaf.
@TheReelMowingMowingClub iron sulphate what a great product I use it a lot and have great results mixed with the seaweed

I'll be looking to treat with liquids every couple of weeks along with iron now.
Won't be watering after. Morning dee should be ok
@@TheReelMowingMowingClub Is it at the normal rate? The make it strong stuff doesn't really specify how often to apply it.
@stevenbelcher5658 yep. 3ml per m² I think. Liquids won't last as long as granular
