I’ve been celibate for years now since being saved no sexual interactions not even with myself. No cuddling, kissing none of that. It’s lonely at times but I’ve got to say it has taught me to be more humble and love myself in a way I never have. Thank you Jesus! I am married to Christ and only if He gives me a earthly husband will I have sex again. Through Christ we can do all things! When it gets hard to bear turn to prayer and ask Him to give you strength and to take away your urges… He can and He will.

I did almost twenty. gets real lonely Adam isn't meant to be alone and chapter 6 was given to a church that had terrible practices. you see that in chapter 5. praying God lead a husband your way in God's Holy Name. This is so good, about 9 month ago The lord asked me, “why don’t you give me your sexuality”. This happened after I came back to the faith in October and was struggling. I never realized it was lust I’ve always wrestled with. it’s been a tough road but I’m so humbled and happier here. Of course I have my struggles however my spirit feels full and I feel cleansed if that makes sense.

In reference to sexual immortality and homosexuality, there are people who acknowledge the sin, but refute deliverance because they say the Bible says “no sin is greater than the other”. So, if no sin is greater than the other, then are homosexuals given the same grace as anyone else who sins? We are all sinful in some way or the other. We sin daily. But if this sin is an abomination unto God, will God judge homosexuals more harshly than those whose sin is not an abomination. All sin grieves the Holy Spirit, if Jesus forgave the thief on the cross, than will he forgive those who are homosexual?

Having perverted thoughts and having a lustful eye I rebuke and give it to God. When I feel weak from temptation I meditate on 1 Cor 10:13... He offers a free gift of faith if u want it. Yes we all sin daily but to repent is to "turn away from" so since I have accepted Christ he has also given me that as well. But he is so loving and merciful he allows us free will to make whatever choice we feel. He can deliver me from those desires if he chooses but if not I must fight my flesh daily which EVERYONE must do no matter the sin. Its truly the practicing of sin. That’s the revelation I was missing 😨!!! Thinking back, I’m struggling with lust so much because “I” am trying so hard not to lust that I end up doing the thing I don’t want to do and also because I have been thinking I can stop myself from sinning but I can’t. God is the one that helped me stop all these others sins I was partaking in, not me. I didn’t know just how tight I was holding onto my sexuality up until now. I have no clue on what or how to really surrender my body and sexuality to Jesus but I do. May the Holy Spirit do what only he can do. Thank you for this. This goes deep for believers who were abused molested and traumatized as children Why, why did our Lord allow that? How do the victims overcome? How do you not internalize and think of sex as evil? And so on... thanks for the insight on Jesus's Lordship being the key to understanding.
Unfortunately, it’s because God created us but in Man’s disobedience (Genesis) it opened doors for sin. The principle is, sin effects all of us. He doesn’t control people. He gives us principles & we have to live by those the best we can. Sometimes, the things that happen to innocent people or children is a result of someone else’s sin or disobedience. I too, am an overcomer of molestation & rape. I have asked this question so many times. It’s finally starting to make sense to me now. The Bible tells us that we will have struggles, we will have pain in this life. It doesn’t specifically say how we will experience that individually. For some of us, that’s sexual assault. But God is a healer & he can and will use your story to help the next. Sin is sin. It doesn’t care who it destroys or who it uses to “try” and destroy others. But God is God & he works ALL things for the good of those who love him, who are called according to His purpose. I hope this helps you. ❤

I struggled with this as a former fornicator and having had an abortion believing the lie that, ‘it’s my body etc’. When I my first child the Lord showed me which breast pump to buy after I rushed and bought the first one. It worked so much better than the first one and was cheaper than the one all my peers were raving about. When He was getting ready to reveal to me the next stage of my career, He explained to me the danger of ultra processed foods and led me to a fast to break the addiction behind an the food industry that puts addictive ingredients in food that damage your health for financial gain. After the Daniel fast I finally lost the baby weight I had been carrying for 5 months and was able to move like an athlete. Those two experiences showed me what it can look like when you acknowledge Him as the owner of the body.

When we think about God being Lord over our body, sexual sin should be mentioned but things such as food, drink, immodest clothing, face tattoos, these things should be thought of as well when considering, how am I glorifying God in my body. Are these things damaging my body and health or is it bringing life to my physical and mental and giving glory to God. Many think these topics are being legalistic but Paul says whatever we eat, drink, whatever we do, do all to the glory of God. Just thought I’d mentioned that.

It is wise for believers to study the tabernacle that The Most High entrusted Moses and His people to build while they were in the wilderness. And it is also wise for believers to study the house that king Solomon built for The Most High. These two structures will show us how much The LORD God truly cares about the body and even the internal make up of the body. The Most High pretty much placed in our faces what our original design is to reflect through these two intimate structures. Because they both first identify with the gorgeous divine nature and image of The Messiah Jesus Christ, which is the very image we are to model and pattern in the earth. The tabernacle and the house Solomon built for The LORD God also give language to the divine order that is expressed through not only the image of The Messiah and The Godhead, but through us as well. We expressed this before man fell. The external part of these structures prophesy how we are The Most High's masterpiece, His workmanship, because we mirror the beauty of His holiness and righteousness through Christ. And the internal structure of these buildings reveal the glory we are originally designed to reflect, release, and give language to in both the earth realm and spiritual realm. The Most High's love letters are hiding in these two structures, and The Most High made this personal on purpose so we can see just how valuable we are to Him and to His Son and Spirit. I just read this scripture just flipping through the word reading and stopped there at 1 Cor 6.. this is one of my struggles. In reference to sexual immortality and homosexuality, there are people who acknowledge the sin, but refute deliverance because they say the Bible says “no sin is greater than the other”. So, if no sin is greater than the other, then are homosexuals given the same grace as anyone else who sins? We are all sinful in some way or the other. We sin daily. But if this sin is an abomination unto God, will God judge homosexuals more harshly than those whose sin is not an abomination. All sin grieves the Holy Spirit, if Jesus forgave the thief on the cross, than will he forgive those who are homosexual?

He offers a free gift of faith if u want it. Yes we all sin daily but to repent is to "turn away from" so since I have accepted Christ he has also given me that as well. But he is so loving and merciful he allows us free will to make whatever choice we feel. He can deliver me from those desires if he chooses but if not I must fight my flesh daily which EVERYONE must do no matter the sin. Its truly the practicing of sin. I choose not to continue living in the sin willingly, but if I do slip and backslide its up to me to pray and ask for forgiveness.

That’s the revelation I was missing 😨!!! Thinking back, I’m struggling with lust so much because “I” am trying so hard not to lust that I end up doing the thing I don’t want to do and also because I have been thinking I can stop myself from sinning but I can’t. God is the one that helped me stop all these others sins I was partaking in, not me. I didn’t know just how tight I was holding onto my sexuality up until now. I have no clue on what or how to really surrender my body and sexuality to Jesus but I do. May the Holy Spirit do what only he can do.

Unfortunately, it’s because God created us but in Man’s disobedience (Genesis) it opened doors for sin. The principle is, sin effects all of us. He doesn’t control people. He gives us principles & we have to live by those the best we can. Sometimes, the things that happen to innocent people or children is a result of someone else’s sin or disobedience.
I too, am an overcomer of molestation & rape. I have asked this question so many times. It’s finally starting to make sense to me now. The Bible tells us that we will have struggles, we will have pain in this life. It doesn’t specifically say how we will experience that individually. For some of us, that’s sexual assault. But God is a healer & he can and will use your story to help the next. Sin is sin. It doesn’t care who it destroys or who it uses to “try” and destroy others. But God is God & he works ALL things for the good of those who love him, who are called according to His purpose.

I struggled with this as a former fornicator and having had an abortion believing the lie that, ‘it’s my body etc’. When I my first child the Lord showed me which breast pump to buy after I rushed and bought the first one. It worked so much better than the first one and was cheaper than the one all my peers were raving about.
When He was getting ready to reveal to me the next stage of my career, He explained to me the danger of ultra processed foods and led me to a fast to break the addiction behind an the food industry that puts addictive ingredients in food that damage your health for financial gain. After the Daniel fast I finally lost the baby weight I had been carrying for 5 months and was able to move like an athlete. Those two experiences showed me what it can look like when you acknowledge Him as the owner of the body.

Yessss because man is tripartite and if we are to fulfill 1 Thessalonians 5:23 which states that our WHOLE spirit, soul and body needs to be preserved blameless until the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we can’t only focus on soul and spirit and leave the body out of it.
Please go more in depth 🙏🏽 also discuss what we put in our bodies (diets, supplements), exercise etc just how we take care of our bodies wholistically.

When we think about God being Lord over our body, sexual sin should be mentioned but things such as food, drink, immodest clothing, face tattoos, these things should be thought of as well when considering, how am I glorifying God in my body. Are these things damaging my body and health or is it bringing life to my physical and mental and giving glory to God.
Many think these topics are being legalistic but Paul says whatever we eat, drink, whatever we do, do all to the glory of God.

This is beautifully spoken with truth. And you are correct. The Messiah does care about the body and this is why He purposely made it clear on identifying His people with His (body).
It is wise for believers to study the tabernacle that The Most High entrusted Moses and His people to build while they were in the wilderness. And it is also wise for believers to study the house that king Solomon built for The Most High.
These two structures will show us how much The LORD God truly cares about the body and even the internal make up of the body.
The Most High pretty much placed in our faces what our original design is to reflect through these two intimate structures. Because they both first identify with the gorgeous divine nature and image of The Messiah Jesus Christ, which is the very image we are to model and pattern in the earth. The tabernacle and the house Solomon built for The LORD God also give language to the divine order that is expressed through not only the image of The Messiah and The Godhead, but through us as well. We expressed this before man fell. The external part of these structures prophesy how we are The Most High's masterpiece, His workmanship, because we mirror the beauty of His holiness and righteousness through Christ. And the internal structure of these buildings reveal the glory we are originally designed to reflect, release, and give language to in both the earth realm and spiritual realm. The Most High's love letters are hiding in these two structures, and The Most High made this personal on purpose so we can see just how valuable we are to Him and to His Son and Spirit.
