Hey, I just wanted to thank you for posting these even though it's like 2 years late. Howard is my grandfather's brother, and my dad's uncle. He was a great man and it really makes me happy to see people who appreciate his work. Thank you for commemorating him

I’m in a train station tearing up reading this. Little Mermaid, Beauty & The Beast, Aladdin & Little Shop are my fave Disney & musical of all time. Rest in peace Howard x

It's heartbreaking. Beauty and the Beast is one of my absolute favourite movies x
He wrote the songs for Little Shop of Horrors and Smile.
He never saw the final version of Aladdin, either. He wrote the lyrics for 3 of the songs. He and Alan started working on Aladdin but then put it on hold when Disney wanted him to be in charge of production of Beauty and the Beast. They needed him for it to be a success.
