can still break the screen when having the otter all it needs is a point of pressure. I have a military type one and it still cracked the edge one time when it got dropped on edge by someone using it on a wooden porch no less.

Yellow Dell is awesome, we've had 12 Tribes people help with trail maintenance at Carver pond, Bridgewater ma. They spent the day adding benches raking leaves and they took all the leaves to turn into compost! 😊BACON WRAP 🥓

Oh jeez Im sorry about your phone. At least it all seemed to work out kinda. You're getting good at making things happen on the fly. Kinda stinks that it messed up your schedule for editing and you had to get a different phone. I have the Galaxy 22+ and I really like it and my husband has the Pixel 6. I have a hard time with his phone just because its set up different than Samsung but its just a matter of getting used to a different phone. Im just sorry your phone got busted but appreciate your videos and bringing us along on your journey. I guess I feel more bad about the time you had to take off trail to get your phone figured out. Its been great so far and even though I follow a few other hikers, you give a different prospective and I learn something and see things I haven't seen before. Cant wait to see what the surprise is. 😊

Have to stay flexible
I had been wondering what hiking the trail pre-cellphone would be like because you wouldn't have access to current weather reports. Spotted a backseat cover in the car after seeing a very muddy Leo. Also saw sign that Verizon offered veteran discounts, hope that helped. I'm absolutely flabbergasted at your posting schedule!
It was just fine with 7.5 maps and looking up at the sky, what a concept!! looking up at the weather ... LOL I started hiking the trail in 1976 at blood mountain in the snow, zero degrees that night. 30 degree bag to sleep in was the warmest you could get at the time in down bags. a small north face snow tent with two people in it, LOL.
If you needed a phone you hiked out and put a quarter in the phone booth and dialed it out to call home. no shuttles no hostels and no shit given or taken
