Even if this is a bit beyond the scope of a simple "remaster", what I really hope above all else that they overhaul the infection mechanic to be dynamic so that your teammates are no longer scripted to become Things at certain points in the story, making it possible save almost everyone if you play smart enough.
No they said they weren’t touching any in game mechanics sorry b it this is just a nicer looking remaster nothing crazy except for the graphics and the gameplay apparently is suppose to be more modern

I highly doubt they could get the rights to it, not counting that rebellion is still in business, so they would need their go ahead too for the game files
Really liking these interviews and glimpses into the development, I'm very excited for this remaster! Hope you continue this with with The Thing and other future projects as well, it would be cool to see even just these types of short little checkups on devs doing stuff on other Nightdive projects, even if the game is still some way out from a release, it kind of helps build excitement, just seeing it come along and hearing/seeing the good stuff.

@mikejett2733 Frogwares put out games that are consistently 7/10 at best. In my opinion, Alan Wake 2 is miles better than literally everything Frogwares has ever made.

Also will there be improvements in the AI because it be nice to be able to experience different things or to be able to keep your entire team alive. Also I really hope the controller experience is way better like actually being able to aim your gun. This game needs a full blown remake done like RE2 or dead space remakes slowing down the gameplay and focusing on more survival horror
