lol you'll be crying when u come to the factory where I'm working at 😂. these pathetic people around me at the factory literally using those electric screwdriver to drilling the magnet plus plastic cover on the bottom part of the Magnetizer and keep drilling it until the plastic cover is broken and exposing the magnet inside which they also drilling it claiming it how the Magnetizer will magnetize their electric screwdriver tip

What if the thing u want to demagnetize is part of something else that u can’t run through the D mag side. Does the bottom part of that also demagnetize? Or do you just have to put it in the Square part?

Demagnetize could work, but magnetizing it would not.

I don’t think the side you use matters, given that I just watched a video that the magnetizer was opposite of the one we see here. The actual tool looks the exact same, however the magnetized/ demagnetized are labeled oppositely. I’m this video the top with the little steps is magnetize, however on the other one I watched it was demagnetize. The other video explained that the only difference between the 2 is the direction of the poles. The demagnetized part of the tools magnetic field runs perpendicular to the screwdriver, whereas the magnetize side is running parallel to the screwdriver.

Can someone please explain how this works with only one magnet in it and I can't do that with just a magnet???

@@Yehas-dq9ns Any tool that becomes magnetic will unintentionally but constantly be picking up every little shard and scrap of ferrous material laying around. Not to mention screws and to each other. Constant aggravation and removal of said items. Once you've experienced it, you never want to see it happen again.
The magnetic trays for holding nuts and bolts are also evil entities.
