Fun to see! I have a few of the larger, senior Kodak Autographic models, they are quite nicely equipped for consumer cameras.
One of them had an owners name and address in it, so I found on google maps, the street shot of the owners apartment building, and also his death notice in the 1950’s, which added a personal touch. If they could talk, what stories could these old cameras tell?!
Thanks as usual for a nice video tour!

Too bad you have not followed up on this video series. I was really hoping to hear more on this. Please share an update if you still have the camera. I have on that is in killer shape, but dont know how to use it. I was looking for hints. Thanks

116/616 film is 70mm wide without perforations. Ilford sent me a 50foot roll. I bought one old roll of 116 and got good paper backing and a spool. Now rolling my own is possible. The film is developed easily on Patterson reels. The tube has videos about that by me and another guy. AND I sent a camera away to have new bellows installed. Don't give up on old cameras. They are so cool! My wife has thousands of 116 negatives for me to scan. They are from 1910-11

The focus distances are feet on the left and metres on the right, not ranges between the numbers

The viewing window on the back is a problem (to allow winding on to the next frame). It leaks light with modern film. You need to cover it, or add darker glass or plastic. Otherwise nice camera.

i have one thats in almost pristine condition for its age, the only problems with it that I can see are: my shutter just stays on T which I guess means tripod? Although I have read it also means Time. The aperture moves rather good for its age. I am sure there are some pinholes at the corners of the bellows. I wonder if the below can replaced? The viewfinder glass is pushed in and can't get it to come foward, Other than that this camera is pretty good condition. I think the lens could use a cleaning, the front part of the lens looks good but the back either has haze or some light funugs or some dirt, i am not sure what it is.

Why is it stuck? Are the bellows dried out? Otherwise you can lubricate the rails that it slides out on

I've just picked one up in a local charity shop. I am going to clean it up and use it for display. One issue is, I cant figure out how you close it down into the box. I bought it extended and open from the shop and the girl there clearly had no idea how to move it back into the interior and close the camera down. Any tips?

+CmdrBondUK If you look on the left side of the camera, there is a set of numbers for preset focus distances. next to that is a small latch which you need to manipulate to slide the bellows into the collapsed position. once fully collapsed, you can press on the bed struts to close the front.
