Far cry games in a nutshell ngl, even fc5 had weaponry from all over the place. Old school double barrels and swag actions next to HTI and Gepard rifles alongside m16a1s and m60s. Thing i love about these games: they go familiar and exotic with the weapons

You're right, Bf2042 actually beats it. Both are smooth, but Bf has a bit better. The Portal though gets beat by Roblox. I would say it's a tie between BF and FC as both are smooth, yet rough feeling animations.
Some weapons in BF 2042 were animated good enough like AK12 & the revolver but the weapons in Portal tho, fucking cancer to the eyes. Don’t look up AKS-74U reload if you really love your eyes.

Definitely nice, creative and punchy and a little more playful than MW2019's. Although overall I prefer MW2019's animations, they have that dark professional vibe to them. But they are up there. Nice to see. Now it only needs an fov slider on consoles 💟

these animations are pretty nice, but i really wish they didnt mirror some of the gun models
Far Cry 5 and 6 are my favorite games in the franchise when it comes to weapon animations, the animations in both games are very smooth.
BF2042 can't even compair to this for the slightest.
I think some of the guns had good animations, most notinally, the PBX-45 and the Ak-24

Unbisoft is being doing this even before MW19
Most people just never experienced a nice quality reload until MW19 and that game probably made them pay more attention to the gun reloads.

Took a year for every far cry gamers to realize that :
1. Some of the gun is mirrored
2. Shell of bullets and rocket launcher didn't eject
And my response to that is:
1. They're counter strike references.
2. RPG 7 says otherwise.
