Can I ask which version of pdal have you installed? I have the latest (2.6.0) and it keeps saying "(pdal pipeline Warning) Dimension ClassFlags is deprecated" and I guess this depends on the pdal version. Thank you for all your interesting videos :)
I'm kind of envious. In Germany, 27-times smaller than the US, the open geodata infrastructure is scattered into 16 state agencies, which provide the data with lousy user interfaces and inconsistent standards. And actually they had to be forced to provide any by EU-legislation. On the legally last possible point in time, the self-proclaimed technological leader state Bavaria just started to distribute Lidar data for free last year. Of course with a quirky UI and definitely no way to interact with PDAL. The armchair farts surely never ever heard of that before and will not have in 10 years.
Hi,
Very nice tutorial, do you estimate accuracy for RGB values, or any idea how to do it?
Thanks.
How do you find a raster that fit that point cloud selection?

Good question. I'm using 2.5.6
This is awesome. I have used lidar and DEMs many times to generate contour lines, but I never thought to do this.
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it

Oh man. That's frustrating. Hopefully things will improve as they move forward
thank you 🙏
