How to filter classes in a classified point cloud using CloudCompare

  • In this tutorial we will discover how to use CloudCompare to filter LIDAR classes out from an aerial point cloud. We will be using the filter by value tool and I'll show you a method that works with non contiguous classes as well.

    Hello, what classificator do you use ?

      The cloud was already classified so no classifier actually. There is plenty of foss solutions on github but you need to train the chain with input data. This is quite a complex topic :)
