Nice looking safety stand. Is there a supplier of the Bowler Hat covers for the end of the irons over here or do they have to be odered from The Rocking Horse Shop in Fangfoss UK? So glad to see that the bridle is buckled on and not nailed as some do. Very nice horse and stand as usual. The thing that I like about Rocking Horses like this with real tail and mane is that the donor horse gets to live again and bring joy.
I buy all of my tack through the rocking horse shop. They’re great people to deal with, family owned and operated and they ship out fast. I’ve had people send me the mane from a loved horse that had sadly passed away and I’ve added it to their rocking horse. A great way to remember their horse.

I think that’s a great idea! I feel the channel is becoming a bit stale and repetitive. Once these next two horses are finished it’s going to open up my schedule a little more and allow me to start some new projects. Next month I’m going to start building the “Hero” Thoroughbred race horse in solid cherry from The Rocking Horse shop. The carousel horse would also be fun to build.
