Yeah, thank you, Mother Nature! All the mountain views are gorgeous. Especially the red mountain surface exposed to the sunlight is beyond beautiful! It's like magic! I'm sure you two enjoyed the hike fully.🍀

I have spent many happy hours up there, late evening into night. I travel up on my electric mountain bike from Lauterbrunnen, so as not to have to think about the train timetable. The ride back down in the dark is always cold but amazing. The mountains come alive with wildlife in the evening, and it takes on a completely different feel. It always amazes me that you can have the place all to yourself, and be the only person up there.
If you do this again, take the cable car up to the Mannlichen. By doing this, you can watch the sun almost set the lakes of Thun and Brienz on fire with a reflective orange glow. I can guarantee that you will shed a tear of happiness. If you head up to the viewing platform further up, the name of which I can't currently remember, the view is even more spectacular.
I will go soon up to Schnyige Platte - the sunsets up there are amazing too. I would love to stay up at Männlichen but unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the hotel :(

@@SylviaMichelPhotography Hi Sylvia, I had knee replacement surgery in January, but it got infected. I spent the next six months in rehab hospitals fighting the infection and having additional surgeries. I'm finally back home and having physical therapy to walk again, but progress is slow. Your videos remind me that there's a big beautiful world out there, and I need to keep moving. Thank you.

Really enjoyed this video! Saw some views of valley, mountain side, houses/hotels, and mountains that I'd not noticed/seen before. Also saw a stream of water from the snow making its way down to a little waterfall and places where other streams have been. That was really interesting. Alp glow was nice and walking early morning in silence and cool of the morning with Rasta was restful. And the reflections are always so pretty. Great place for breakfast! Really enjoyed this video with so many different shots. Please keep showing what you don't usually show. Thanks Sylvia!!!!

For a moment, I thought I was unaware of a special term and that there may be similar ones for: a) goat bells in pastures, b) the simultaneous ringing of large, ceremonial cow bells by humans during festivals and New Year (Appenzell), c) ringing bells from several or more churches. ;-)
