Why are people saying the character customization is bad when I’m literally seeing some of the most cracked designs?

Right?? It’s so good like it has all the right things to make all these characters
If someday you play Tekken 5, you'll know why.
Lmao compare it to even tekken 7 , you ll see why + half of them are not accurate cosplay , jjst match à little bit the color
Because these are almost entirely (generally good) pallet swaps or school uniforms. Like, there’s five pallet swaps of Jun’s Default 3 outfit here. And again, they’re pretty solid but that’s because they hit that very superficial colour matching thing.
On top of that, it’s missing a tonne of the generic items from previous games and a load of the character specific stuff. Eyes and makeup can’t change colour. The generic hair looks like bad wigs made from ribbon strips. You can’t wear a hat without default hair. Sharing specific colours is tough because you have to nail a location on a colour graph instead of having some HSV values to smash in.
It’s not Soul Calibur frustrating where wearing a jacket makes it look like they’re wearing an invisible fat suit underneath, but it’s not ‘good’.
This isn’t a knock on the customs in the video though. They’re doing good work with table scraps. Doesn’t change the fact they’re getting scraps.

In case you do another one of these in the future, you could use Lee's default costume + the Violet Systems helmet to create Master Chief

I made DVA too. The sci fi armor outfit doesn't work for me as DVA. I used her default outfit. It looked far better with the color scheme. I did OW1 colors over OW2 DVA.
No love for yoshi :( I understand he's probably really hard though

he's a bit difficult to do custom for, either you do fictional jaguar characters or wrestlers XD

0:54 Now I know you can do better, I made a better Amy custom than this.
I used Azucenas shoes to get the white line down the middle of the shoe and the second skirt to get the white line across the bottom of the skirt. Any of the sleeveless tops will do but I chose the second and the headband was used over the paw gloves.

02:09 the fact the game doesnt let you put any color for the top part of juns clothes is so indistungishable bad like why would you limit the colors on the top why

I don't, but plan to in the future. I might add a small text stating it includes paid items so don't worry

I would recommend the battle pass even if it's not the best in terms of what it offers right now, but I'll buy it and I'll probably use the items for my customs and it'd be convenient if everyone else had the same. the battle pass gives you back the same amount of coins you bought it for so you'll get the next battlepass for free as long as you don't spend the coins, and the one after that, you get the idea
