The damage while slamming from a height is based on the animation. When you're falling while slamming the dinopithicus slowly raises his arms iver his head, once the hands are fully up it does max damage. It takes way too long of falling to be reliable, but it's semi useful anyways
Syntac, the aberrant helmet skin looks really good on the Dinopithicus, like a Gorilla Grodd soldier.

I remember I started playing ark during early-mid 2018, I was absolutely addicted and played till the end of yr 6 (late 2019). I start playing every now and then and I still love the game. I used to always watch syntac and play on Xbox, I doubt he’ll see this but this brings back rly good memories.
I think your main monkey should have a different helmet skin than the rest of the army.
Hopefully you see this Syntac but your videos have helped me through alot and I've been watching since like 2017 you inspired me to get ark and your videos taught me how to play I remember when I was a beach bob running from raptors. Thank you so much 💙👍

That Dinopithecus breeding room would be a good torture room for captives in reality: The prisoner gets thrown into the room, scared of what he might encounter, and he sees nothing, though the room is smelly and humid. Then, he hears it... hooting and slapping sounds from above, and suddenly they're rained upon by sticky fluids and smelly clumps the size of a cannonball, filling the room unavoidably like a nightmare monsoon. :P
I use my vampire mask skin for the glowing eyes, it looks wicked on the dinopithecus

that lil pond next to the cave is great. I've pulled several max level Rex's out of it. It just spawns them constantly.

Also the height you jump from can increase the damage from the ground slam. You can do crazy dmg if you are far above something below a cliff or whatnot

Just wanted to say big gratz on the Golden button. You're living my dream, but you obviously deserve it. I just started playing ark a few weeks ago, you're basically the only one who has shown a full playthrough of the story on The Island. I'm attempting to play thru all the story maps in order single player.
Is there any story to Lost Island? Or is it just a map and dinos?
Another RUclipsr(smaller) who is good to learn from is convertible turtle gaming. He did a series without mods about 3 years ago. Started on the Center until he ran into a known problem then moved to the Island. Excellent for new players.

If you want to be entertained and learn all the things you shouldn't do in ark watch neebs gaming playthroughs. Watch those old men fail time and time again to the end its a treat
@@varoux4278 I do watch neebs and I seriously love it. Him and thikk and Simon and the D lmao. I watched their whole 8 hour ark supercut without pausing, it kept me up all night. Actually amazing, they put such hard work into those videos. And neebs sounds super southern and I'm from Alabama so, finally a youtuber that I can semi-relate to haha.

Just an FYI. The infested grenades act like sticky grenades if thrown At An animal. On the floor they'll roll but if they hit a creature they will stick and move with it
ive always had a massive fear of monkeys and them hanging there willets breeding- wow that...that doesn't help.
if you want to make one the alpha without having to worry about the others catching up in level you could always make a small stack of like stam or weight mutations and throw it onto just 1. I did that with my dieononchys and it worked very well
i think the jump and slam attack is meant to be used after u sent in the pack with the warcry. then its definitly alphaboosted and most likely mateboosted too.
and they definitly should get a pack bonus that stacks up to maybe +5
If you are looking for riot helm bp's you can farm in the under water cave (jelly cave) riots pretty common there..
imagine in PVP you walk into a building not knowing there was dinos in there with the door open or wall broken and a army of these fall from the ceiling

I live in the area where syntac saw all the alphas and I kid you not the exact same alphas were in the exact same spots on my world. I fought them right before watching this vid I thought I was having dejavu
Instead of manually killing baby’s for mutations just throw them out infront of the Chali’s. Might not get xp but would be funny

Fun fact: dinopithicues poop throw did like 11 dmg not just that its stun ur enemy so if u whant tame something u can use the dinopithicues poop throw and just trap it simple as that

Yeah they got like reverse blood wyern abilities. Instead of baraging a geyser of cursed blood then suck streams of blood out they just telepathically guide the streams of baby batter in a radius. Like some horrifying fountain display. (Somethings wrong with me),

So playing Ark earlier this month got me thinking about the 100 day challenge and so I came up with my own. I have tried and failed all 3 attempts so maybe a vet like @Syntac or the other 100 day survivors can complete it.
Here is the challenge:
Players can only start in one of the following 4 biomes: Swamp, Redwoods, Lava, Snow
Players are only allowed to build bases in their starting Biome (No other bases on the map are allowed except the one main base)
Players are forbidden to leave their starting biome until level 50 or day 25 has passed.
Gamma Bosses must be killed before day 50
Beta Bosses must be killed before day 75
Alpha Bosses must be killed before day 100
NOTE: If any of the above are not completed as specified the challenge is ruled as a fail
Additional Modifiers can be added from the list below to increase difficulty if desired:
Tamed Dinos cannot exceed level 200
Flying Dinos cannot be tamed
All gear must be Primitive (This includes weapons, armor, saddles)
Boss fights will only allow a max of 10 Dinos allowed to fight
Boss fights only allow medium size dinos and below to fight them
Players are not allowed to use notes to help level up
Dinos can only be breed 1 time per pair of dinos (Incest is forbidden)

0:25 build a 1.5 wall area with a roof and you can put baboons on top and still mate. I have a octagon shaped breeding building that goes out 3 foundations from the center with the inside center foundation removed where the male goes. The walls are one normal wall and a half wall with ceilings. I currently have 25 females around the male and they all breed. Technically i could make another story and just put the male on the middle area and get close to 40 most likely.
I am using Chali. I want to fight poop with poop. And yes I know Chali throw stones, but the effect you get is the as if poop was thrown at you.
I got a mining helmet BP a long time ago that has 1500.6 amor and it’s surprisingly cheap to make, and it’s durability it like 1-2k

I started a thing on this map on my xbox where everything is really hard to kill, i am easy to kill, gathering is hard, and leveling is hard...and that is just scratching the surface...probably.

I put my base in that one cave by the alpha raptor and carno, every time I go outside there is a metric fuckton of rex's, raptors, carnos and sabers usually alphas
Btw, apes and monkeys are mutually exclusive. Monkeys (most of them anyway) have tails and apes don't. Also, the red eyes are cool, but red is also a natural color for that region, so I think a purple or a cyan would look pretty cool.
You could do a series from start to boss where you’re not allowed fliers? Just a thought 😂☺️

I'd defiantly prioritize finding a helmet that has high durability as opposed to armor value. If the armor value of the helmet is considered the same as the saddle armor, than many of the helmet Bps even if not max armor capped will surpass a max armor cap saddle. However all that armor will be for naught if the helmet breaks early in the boss fight due to low durability.

Tried alpha w 16 of these dudes w great helmets 10k health and 915 or so damage. We took the alpha to half health before I died. Maybe w some more mutations and a yuty we could stand a better chance.

I like your ideas Syntac. You know they could make it stick, because the tracker thing sticks to the creatures. It's weird I didn't think I would like the ancient baboon. But playing around with them is starting to make like them. But the grenades do throw me off liking it more. Maybe if it actually did more damage and was able to stick to all what you aim it at. It might make it one of my faves.
