Shed a lot as a kid in yap. I lived in chuuk for a year or so in the early 50s.,visited off and on till my last visit in 74. Anyway, i usually took some soy sauce and limes with us in the small boat. Then we just cut the meat off, sliced it up and dipped it in the sauce an ate it that way. One time we forgot the soy sauce so we just dipped the fish poeces in the water and ate it like that. Sometimes we got lucky and would find a clam and would eat that also. Your food brings back so so many memories.
Well since the ladies are waiting, we have to prepare the well. If only boys gona eat it then it’s doesn’t need to be prepared tis way. And yes, jst lime and the water one good recipe 🔥💯
