Final Fantasy VII Remake[a] is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix. The game is a remake of the 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII. Square Enix released the game as a multi-part series, with the first entry released for the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020 with timed exclusivity for one year.
Players control mercenary Cloud Strife as he and a group known as AVALANCHE oppose Shinra, a megacorporation, from using the planet's life essence as an energy source. The gameplay combines real-time action with other strategic elements.

Ah man, good memories. Crisis Core was the first thing I ever played in the whole FF7 compilation. The original FF7 was not my first, crisis Core was.
Honestly, this really made me sad that Zack died. They build up a strong friendship, went through alot and Zack endured so much to get Cloud to safety, and then right before they make it, he dies and Cloud forces himself back on his feet. This really made me sad... but i'm glad we got to see a different ending in the remake... one where they both make it. I wish it would've been like that ngl. I like cloud's character but him being a team with zack would be awesome

Zack was, and still is, Cloud's best friend. Even tho he said "Aerith, wait for me", in the end, he sacrificed himself to protect Cloud from Shinra. If Zack hadn't of died then, do you think Cloud would still be his happy and cheerful self instead of his edgey self in FF7R? Would Cloud be traveling with Zack or would he go with him to meet Aerith? Maybe not just Cloud but Zack too, would've been a hero that saved the world. I know there's an alternate ending where Zack is still alive but I've never liked alternate endings since it's just a 'what if' scenario and it's not the original, if they die in the original, then they're dead for good. No alternate endings, no what ifs, ands, or buts, just nothing.
I know this is irrelevant to this video but who has any ships on this game? Mine are Cloud x Tifa, Zack x Aerith, and Vincent x Yuffie (even though they're not in this game).
Zack and Aerith all the way. When I first played FF7 I wasn't sure who to pair Cloud with but after playing Crisis Core, it was evident to me that Zack and Aerith belong together.

I think both Zack & Cloud are inspirational chat. It’s sad that Zack that died in Crisis Core, but he felt like he had became a hero by saving Cloud & giving him the Buster. And it’s also sad that Cloud never became a SOLDIER since that was his dream to be like Sephiroth, but the Nibelheim incident happened & it forever changed his life. Cloud may never achieve his dream again, but he has a his friends that help him grow overtime, especially Tifa & Vincent.
Zack belongs with aerith and cloud belongs with tifa and they all have to live happily ever after 🥺💕🙏🏻

@@kaage8780 Anything outside of Zerith isn't canon, no matter how much was implied, the creators left it open to interpretation. Who knows what will happen in the new timeline.
Yeah you might say Zack became something of a big bro figure towards Cloud in their friendship and I just hated what happened to Zack at the end. However that's now been changed in the remake story and they might be seeing Zack again soon enough! YES!!!

I thought the leader of the Turks told them don't kill them?
Rather they tried to save 'em. Yeah, the first meeting during the escape went kinda off, but Cissnei changed sides after seeing Zack carrying Cloud. Then the whole Turks followed her lead.

I feel that Cloud would still have the f*cked up mind to some degree. It might just not be with him thinking all Zacks memories are his. But it is still a little too fragile. I think Sephiroth tormenting his mind doesn't have much to do with Zacks death.

Obviously its not only about Zack's death , lets not forget that he lost his mother and his entire hometown when Sephy boy burned it down
{ although for some reasons he made zack's death much more a big deal than his mother . I think they didn't consider giving his mom some character ? idk but i would like to see her in the remake }
I agree though that like you said , at some degree he would still be haunted by the memories but i don't think it would be f*cked up. If you think about it , Cloud lost his hometown , his mother and at top of all that he saw his mentore / best friend getting killed in front of him which was the last straw for him to start having PTSD . If Zack is alive he can help Cloud master his *S-CELLS* and help him BOTH *mentally* and *physically* handle *situations* way better than he would before . Sephy boy would have a very hard time trying to manipulate Cloud that's for sure . If Cloud had someone to train him { like Zack his mentor } in order to master his JENOVA / *S-CELLS* he would be as strong as he was in disc 3 IF NOT like he was in the movie AC. All this from JUST disc 1 !
Ofcourse that would be like speed-running the game xd but am all for it if something like that is going to happen
But beside all this , Cloud deserves a little happenines . I know the FANDOM of FF7 is a bit f*ck up ... well... actually they are a LOT f*cked up and want some dark and depressing sh*t but this game and story has a lot of flaws since the Original . Starting with the ending of FF7 , the devs needs to give us a better and more clear ending . Btw a little side note to this : * if fans want depressing sht they can just look at their everyday lives just saying xd THAT or AOT in my opinion that anime is dark and depressing as hell lol* { and i love that anime btw its obviously in my top 10 list }
