@@felixnguyen6336 Yeah, should've clarified I meant on stage at the ledge and not the blast zone. If you watch frame by frame, you can see how close they were to staying on stage.

Riddles actually spotdodged there and maybe got lucky that it was perfectly timed, but there were a few absolute BS situations in this set where skyjay uses alolan whip and just goes through Kazuya because he’s doing EWGF which is completely invincible for some reason, and then gets hit by the electric hitbox behind Kazuya

Used to really cheer for Riddles with the Terry... now with Kaz it's kinda lame. The character leaks DLC privlage so much it kinda ruins the excitement, when you are constantly like... wtf are those hitboxes...
I get what you’re saying but as a kazuya main, he still takes crazy execution and not only that, Incineroar isn’t the best character but I do see what you’re talking about.

@@tugitbrothers3699 I said it ruins the excitement because the character has nonsense hitboxes and invincible moves that cause the game to have a mini stroke. It's not controversial to say FP2 characters have some very generous tools. Difficulty of use has no relevance to that.
You're asking questions to comments I never made. However;
- No, the character doesn't play for him.
- Yes, I too have played Kaz. Honestly, the hardest thing is exactly what Riddles already knows. Fighting zoner players. However, difficulty is subjective, especially when it comes to inputs. The window for electrics is not a balancing metric with the in-game shortcuts, and the reward being a truly invincible move that stuns and leads into 50%~stock.
- He is a very popular sub character in Japan. Tea, Proto, aCola and many more have pocket Kazuya's. Clearly however, it's not a 64 Pika, Brawl MK, or 4 Bayo level of nonsense that necessitates a pick, but it's foolish to think pro's only meta pick. With all tech allowed, it's easy to think Steve is the undisputed "best" character, but yet he's wildly unpopular with most "pro" players above the age of 20.
Definitely a longer response than what is required, but I felt the need to clarify, since it seemed you read something that wasn't actually written.
@@sleepy1466 He’s just execution. Most head empty character in the game. Tweek said it best. He simplifies the game to an insane degree. There’s a reason Riddles has done far better with Kaz than with Terry.
