@@majorconbear7270 ok bro for context I'll try keep this short Ok so after the events of lazarus planet[Story whereby toxic magical rain made everyone's powers go haywire made some heroes strong made others weak gave some regular people powers, and batman fought this devil looking guy and almost died but luckily survived] Now a few weeks after[2 weeks I think] doctor mightmare caused everyone on earth to fall asleep in order to find the dream stone via their dreams[now deadman being a ghost was not affected by this so in order to make everyone wake up he used batman's body and batman being unconscious couldn't take hold of his body so deadman pushed batman's body to the limit landing him in a coma in the end though doctor nightmare was stopped deadman died or something like that I don't know] And when bruce finally woke up from his coma he found out catwoman had been training robbers to Rob rich people and this resulted in either the rich person or robber dead and batman didn't like the idea of skilled criminals but the rest of the bat family saw catwomans plan as a Win situation and decided to support her so when bruce tried to stop himself thats what led to the event's in this video. TL;DR Batman fell into coma meanwhile selina made a plan that the batfamily supported except batman, so batman being batman tries to stop her but batfamily decided to stop batman from thwarting her perfect plan so that's how we ended up in this video.

I find it funny how sometimes Bruce struggles to fight just 1 of the BatFamily members one story but then somehow manages to fight them all the next with not many problems.
Batman struggling against one should make sense. There are things that should be maintained in scenarios where he fights the Batfamily. Nightwing is a prime example of somebody he should struggle against, since he’s Batman’s equal or better. But this is also the same Batman that had just come from things like the Knightmares incident where his body was pushed beyond its limits by Deadman while he was in Insomnia’s nightmare world where Bruce decided to let go of his parents’ deaths. And after this, I think he slept for like eight weeks? Weeks, yeah, I believe, I gotta double check. But yeah, there was little time between then and now.
Because Batman holds back a lot, Batman is surprisingly crazy strong, he’s physically stronger than almost all of his rogues gallary, the only arguable one is Bane, he can very easily no diff any of the Batfamily members, Nightwing is literally the only one who could go toe to toe with all out Batman
Because Batman always hold back against his foes and friends let alone his own kids To put things into perspective He one shotted Dick making him almost unconscious in Batman 138 in the one on one fight they had with no Tim to interfere After that it was brief 2 vs 1 fight and gauntlet match after that But the one time they faced Batman almost ended him if it wasn't for Batman turning his back on Dick and tired to leave and didn't finish Dick off giving Nightwing time to recover and cheap shots Batman from behind, Nightwing would have been done much earlier Batman is one man Army and Zur if done right will be much worse
I’m honestly not sure why such a good writer like Chip thought this was a good story to run with, seeing the bat family Duke it out is cool n all but they absolutely tarnished any kind of development Bruce, Jason, Dick, Selina, Tim, and Damien got for little to no reason and set them back even further
It's doesn't tarnish Bruce or Damian cause bruce has an excuse for being out of character, and damian was just following his father. Everyone else's choices don't make a lot of sense, but I doubt this arc will have any lasting effects after Chip's run is finished.

I really liked the artwork but I wish we could get some serious work on character consistency. One story Nightwing can go toe to toe with Bats and the Next, Bats is solo beating the breaks off his squad. It's not just Batman, all major titles have had this problem for years in both DC and Marvel. Thor also being a perfect example of a lack of continuity. Also Supe's, Magneto, Hulk, Martian Man Hunter... Sentry.
It makes more sense with the characters who relies on their fighting skills since they're always improving. Besides, Bat Family members are holding back much more than Batman here.
That shouldn't concern you, what *should* concern you is how the ENTIRE Bat Family sides with Selina over their adopted father. That is crazy to me especially when Selina is letting criminals do whatever they want.

Dick, however, wasn’t going to go down with a single blow because - out of all of them - he’s probably the one that knows all of Batman’s tricks and surprises. Batman while relaying on His skills and gadgets Is at the top of the Peak Human level. Even if he isn't as physically strong as Deathstroke His sheer amount of Gadgets give him the edge over all other Peak humans or Enhanced Humans (like Deathstroke or Captain America).
Enhanced humans are able to do all things at the same time without tiring. They can lift 700lbs while running as fast as humanly possible while holding their breathe Peak human is capable of doing one of those at a time before needing to rest. Bats is peak Capt A and Deathstroke are Enhanced. Writers gotta remember that

I hate the fact that Batfamily still remain at the level of Batman`s sidekicks, inferior to him in all aspects. They have to grow up and surpass him, become THE characters such lvl as Batman, but they still remain his pets. He still can beat them all when they should be equal to him If don`t suprass him. It's already 2023 and they're still kids. Yes, Dick and Jason have become independent heroes and have been through a lot, but they are still weak compared to Batman. Why is Tim Drake still ROBIN? Even before the flashpoint, he became a Red Robin, giving way to Damian. He had to go into his own line of comics and develop there as an independent hero.
Honestly, if this was equal footing, environment, and peak health and abilities, with standard equip for all (including if Damian was with the Family and not his dad), Bruce would beat all of the them together mid to mid-high diff. The only ones who have defeated Batman hand to hand are Red Hood (but his is questionable by gunpoint), Cassandra, and Dick (questionable because Bats held back in their fight). But Bruce always came back better and stronger. And they never won again since (maybe Cassandra could try since Bats did say he could potentially lose to her again).
Red Hood arguably would have killed Bruce if he wanted too he pretty much admitted the events of UTRH was to just be petty and spit in Bruce's face. Jason also if you use his actual lore should be just as skill as Bruce if not more during his outlaws run in 2016. Nightwing gives Deathstrkke someone who while holding back and was only prolonging it just to distract Bruce got KOd for fun while Bruce was mega fucked up.

Apologies for Spoilers: So the way I heard it, Bruce was unconscious/sleeping for I think 8 weeks. He wakes up to find out Selina's trained low level thugs and henchman to be expert cat burglars. She's got them organized under her leadership but they only target the wealthy (Robin Hood stuff). It's her way of decreasing the crime rate and it seems to be working. The bat family take her side (except Damian) and allow those crimes to happen. Batman disagrees and stops Selina's guys regardless, hence this particular fight.
Batman is currently under the influence of an alter ego that he has. It's making him act pretty irrational and overbearing. In the last issue he badly drugged Jason Todd.

The only ones who have defeated Batman hand to hand are Red Hood (but his is questionable by gunpoint), Cassandra, and Dick (questionable because Bats held back in their fight). But Bruce always came back better and stronger. And they never won again since (maybe Cassandra could try since Bats did say he could potentially lose to her again).
Jason never could beat Bruce or Richard h2h. Nightwing once beaten non-holding back Bruce and he always gives Deathstroke harder fights than Batman.
Red Hood arguably would have killed Bruce if he wanted too he pretty much admitted the events of UTRH was to just be petty and spit in Bruce's face. Jason also if you use his actual lore should be just as skill as Bruce if not more during his outlaws run in 2016. Nightwing gives Deathstrkke someone who while holding back and was only prolonging it just to distract Bruce got KOd for fun while Bruce was mega fucked up.

I mean, all this "catwoman lowring crime rates by training more criminals" is absolutely stupid to begin with, it makews no sense whatsoever, and the details only make it even worse. That "mental reprogramming" machine is something that he supposedly had for a long time, so why not use it on his enemies and criminals instead of his own family? And doesn´t anyone remember when Batman himself thought doing something like this was morally atrocious when he found out he was a victim of this? Whoever is writing this story does not know how to write, nor do the get the characters.

So the way I heard it, Bruce was unconscious/sleeping for I think 8 weeks. He wakes up to find out Selina's trained low level thugs and henchman to be expert cat burglars. She's got them organized under her leadership but they only target the wealthy (Robin Hood stuff). It's her way of decreasing the crime rate and it seems to be working. The bat family take her side (except Damian) and allow those crimes to happen. Batman disagrees and stops Selina's guys regardless, hence this particular fight.
