Toki: I'm in a band. Unnamed guy: That's cool! What instrument do you play? Toki: uh, "FUCK YEAAAAH!" and "OI!" All jokes aside though, I love the grit in Toki's voice. It sounds powerful together with Kuze's range.
Wai-Sun Chia true!!! The fact though that a band like babymetal can consistently recruit guitarists like that tells me that the metal scene in japan doesn't really create much for them financially. It sounds like a huge chance (due to the international success of babymetal) to make some decent money. Other than that each one of them could easily have his own career individually.
@pestlegion - There are places you can make something of a living with metal, but it certainly does seem to have a double-edged curse on it which makes it hard to get really popular. Either the genre itself has low popularity in a region (but it's a bit easier to stand out), or it's somewhat popular, but there are so many bands doing generally the same thing that it's difficult to really stand out. The metal situation seems to get stuck alternating between those. :\

@@MetalAnimeGames you don't seem to know anything First of all, the metal genre is dying out worldwide. Japan has a higher demand for rock music than other countries. This is amazing!!!
Es fenomenal!!!!!
I didn't recognize Leda with short hair😂 I'm used to seeing him with a wig😆

We need to fight fearlessly against our deepest fears
Its time to be free or to be a slave
Together we’ll stand or unite we’ll fall
Don‘t surrender to yourself its up to you and me
No one can see how deep is my soul I’m trying to help you
Don’t you hear it’s a last call
No time to waste, believe me or not is just your problem
I’ll never surrender to leave you in this way
No more questions no more lies
What I need is just to have a piece of you mind
My life has changes through these years
The selfish person in me has been killed by myself
