I have the XC90 from 2019 with D5 235HP and I have it fully equiped. It was as demonstration car from my local dealer and people that drive it say "Yeah its not a car thats makes fun but its the ideal traveling car." And I agree as Roadtrips make a lot of fun with this car, we hear music with the B&W Soundsystem, everyone is having enough room in the car. I love it. I had an S205 C250d 4Matic with 205hp and it made a bit more fun but no comfort as it was an C-Class and they really cheaped out on it. :D
This car is not about speed, it's about safety and comfort
Part of safety is an acceleration ability as well, though...

Whish Volvo would offer the XC90 with a 6 cylinder engine....that was the reason I didn't go for it when i was looking for a new car a few month ago...big shame :(. But nice video. Thankds
First of all, I want to thank you for your excellent video! Secondly, I want to ask you what is the name of the GPS speedometer that you had on your phone, because it is so accurate!
Also, I want to mention that your maximum speed was exactly at 222 km/h (by car's dashboard)!
Γεώργιος Τζίβας Thank you. In this video i just used the iphone11 gps receiver. The volvo speedometer is pretty accurate. In newer video i use the Dual XGPS 160 SkyPRO external gps receiver. Tomorrow i release a video with a Mercedes S500, there i use this receiver.

Where is promised 0-100 7.6s? I was on a test drive (same engine, R-Design, 7pers.) and it was the same like in this video 0-100 takes ~10 seconds. I can understand the one second of difference, but what is it?!?
Yeah, i was wondering, too. Maybe the engine needs a few thousand km to get in shape...
My t6 can do under 8 seconds easily. I only bought a few months ago and it has only done 1000k. Any car and SUV should be able to do 0-100 under 10seconds, otherwise it's a truck...
What was the consumption of fuel in this car? City/autobahn?
If i remember right my fuel consumption on where around 10L mostly autobahn

Totally different types of cars. One is an massive SUV,one is a caravan. If you have a family go for the Swedish giant or if you have a family and want still to have fantastic performance+fantastic fuel economy,go for the A6 Allroad.
Personally,i love more SUVs than caravans,i own a 2015 Q5 3.0 TDI,but i would go for the A6 Allroad. German quality is the best(my opinion)plus you got that 3.0 V6 diesel with an enormous 680 nm of torque!

Its a so called mild hybrid. It has a 48V emotor which supports the petrol engine. But i cant drive fully electric
Limited to 220km/h. It could have done 235-240. These limitations at modern cars are a joke. If I wanted a car with 180 top speed i would have take a citroen or a dacia with under have of the money. What's wrong with you people?
It seems quite too expensive for this engine.

@@DriveVibe so is my20 not the latest 2021, i just purchased a new one (30minutes ago) and got confirmet that all my2021 on any engine will have top speed limited to 180. I was able to get a Thunder Gray B5 without that speed limoter. That 180kmh limiter was disappointing, i was evaluating the Touareg and Q7 but liled much more the xc.. I got confirmation by the Volvo Dealer that the one i was interested was manufactured on the last week before all get limited speed.. Got the call at 9:00 today morning and done the contract at 10:00. Very happy (and feeling lucky). Off course is not tondrive at over 180, but have some speed capability is good of you need to overtake on highway and need some extra speed or just to know it can go faster if needed. Have a limit of 180 on a car of that type is pointless...
In fact 2020 and '2021' only difference is that there is the added limiter on the ones ordered from now on
@@tommasocarta7747 Congrats, then you got lucky. Probably some Tuner can get rid of the limiter in the future? I would guess that could be a big market.
