I know you have more tools and skills and practice now than when I first started watching your channel, but the level of skill and artistry displayed here just blows my mind, especially compared to your older work. I can't even comprehend everything you've done here, it's incredible and so beautiful!
As much as I enjoy your videos making various incredible knives, this is another level. The skill and precision demonstrated here on such a delicate piece is tremendous. Amazing work!
👍🏻 By far the best project you’ve done yet! Absolutely great. I wish you’d had etched your name or logo on the dial face though. Great job otherwise, would like to see more watch related projects like this in the future.
I saw you posted a new video and didn't even read the title. I was wondering what you were making. At one point, it looked like a spatula or spoon - until you cut the handle off. Lol. I was not expecting a watch face. Very cool!
Great job! I've done some watch modding.... I'm kind of a watch nerd.... You did pretty well..... Putting those hands on is NOT easy.... Still drives me nuts, to be honest.... I wonder how many takes that took.... and you actually did a nice job filming it also, which is not easy.... I have very similar magnifying glasses... I like them. A lighted magnifying ring also helps a lot.... Anyways, great job. Well done.
Who said that a smith can't be a watchmaker. Should consider making more of those for sale. Add variants like date windows, open heart dials, some dials for Miyota 9 series movements, and swiss gang sw200/eta 2824. Could be a good business. To bad you did not add your logo, and maybe next time, solder the dial feet.
No clue! I don't have the machine to test timing. Although I've been wearing this for two days straight now and it's still perfectly on time so definitely good enough for me! I don't wear watches everyday because of work. Cheers!
So now you're a watchmaker too... interesting... I'm part of a certain WA group looking for artisans like you able to make quality dials. Could it be of your interest?
Your description says : "All the watch parts were sourced from AliExpress, and the total cost came in at under €80, which is crazy cheap considering how much I love this little vintage-style watch." Yes, it's always cheap to buy from children and slaves labor. Little money, huge guilt, but apparently you don't have the latter, seeing that you're bragging about the low price.
Wow that's what you take from this video? People can find something to guilt others about in just about every area of life. And I'm sure that includes you no matter how enlightened you think you are. Really find another hobby.
@SurfCatten Yeah, you're right... The show must go on, no matter what. It is sure our kind is not in danger at all, so let's keep on consuming at full throttle with no regards to anything and to anyone.

Very nice! Your skills keep growing.

Ma grazie a te! Troppo gentile.
Holy hell. That's beautiful work, wonderful to see your skills continue to evolve like this.
Why don’t you put your logo on it?
Clean, minimalistic, gorgeous watch! Nice work!!
That face turned out beautifully. Incredible work.

You’re even using rodico. Mad skills! Gorgeous work. Thank you for sharing!
I was wondering if that's what he was using! I've only seen it used in watch repair videos but didn't know if it was more widely used

I have always wanted to do the same thing with stacked quarters I worry that I couldn't get enough layers to look good but I think I will try now
Wicked cool! ❤
How do you face the rust that will build up and corrodes the whole watch?
Great job!

Beautiful peace what would you charge for one of the dials
Thanks! Not making this kind of stuff to sell, just for my interest and your viewing pleasure 😁 Cheers!
Відмінний результат.
В часах виглядає суперово.
Треба було лазером якесь своє клеймо чи логотип намалювати.
Бо виробник часів вкраде твою ідею😂
