    James, I stumbled across your channel while researching how to build a pond. Really enjoyed watching your videos on building this pond and it only motivates me even more to build a pond myself. I’ve never owned a pond before but it’s something I’ve always wanted. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

    Delighted to see the water finally going in mate.
    If your worried about the heat from air pump, you could cut out a section of the shelf you made, or maybe drill some holes out the back of shed and put a air vent on, it should help the pump from over heating and hopefully its longevity

    Would you not think it be more pleasing to the eye to have a full tile in the middle of the window into the pond. Just a thought, love the channel and the pond look forward to the uploads

    new to this not a clue about koi ,what a home you have there for your fish fabulous neat tidy ,went back a few your vids your koi look to be in fantastic cond ,i race pigeons ,i know when i see well kept animals ,top tip with anything in life do not overfeed ,do not use a load of potions , a,t,b you , yours

    Looking zee ammer mate. Can't wait to see your koi in it. Probably a bit too much ptfe tape on them joints but time will tell and it's easy fix if it does leak. Loving those shelves aswell, proper smart. 👌

    Amazing job James cannot wait to see it up and running. Make sure you pure that spare ball valve section from time to time. it will become a dead spot for the little critters to breed if not. Look forward to the next vid. 👍

    Brilliant job , James . Pond looks fantastic. Sure your pipe joints will be fine , but 1 little tip is when you put the joint together , twist the two parts slightly . Just fills any gaps in the glue . Sure you'll be fine though as you're very careful 👍

    Looks great, wonder how accurate I was when I said 2000 gallons when full? Looks like you’ve done a really smart job. I would have run out of patience with the flow of that water. Be worth the wait. Hopefully you’ll get no leaks

    Great job mate. Don't worry about the air pumps I have the same ones and I live in Oz and you should feel how hot they get when it's 35+ outside air temp. Ran them pumps for 8 years not probs.

    How bout use silicone instead of teflon for threaded parts? Would it be Easier and seals better plus easier to undo just in case? Nice build anyway.

    Only a bit through the vid dude but u are putting the the PTFE tape (thread tape for engineers) on the correct way and it's good to see. Yes it can be put on backwards. PS still trying to convince the boss that I need a koi pond 😄
