I just got a PS5 slim so i don’t care if Nintendo announces it or not now as I haven’t played my Switch since I got my PS5 and am thinking about switching back to team PlayStation because of AstroBot and feel I’ve missed out on so much with the Switch being my only system until nearly 2 weeks ago.
People only think like this because they misunderstood when Nintendo said " this fiscal year" for "this year", I'm fully expecting the reveal to happen either in January or March

Several shops straight up refused stocking the saturn as they wouldn't be able to reasonably get infrastructure and inventory in place.
Nintendo are trying to sell last bunch of Switches and Switch Lites. I may know a friend who works somewhere where they are being incentivise to sell them having special deals and such. So yeah, it's very clear to me.
I think the companies were allowed to show their stuff after X date and Nintendo moved the Switch 2 release back into 2025 while the deals in place stayed the same.

My guess is that these companies think there won't be any legal backlash because the product already leaked via Chinese accessory manufacturers. Either way, all they're doing is ensuring that Nintendo will be much more reluctant to share information with accessory manufacturers. They're screwing themselves over for short term gains.

Those “buttons” look more like releases for the joycons. They’re in exactly the same place as the old ones. I can’t even imagine using buttons in that configuration-I’ve tried to approximate it on my oled switch, and even with my big-ish hands, I would have trouble reaching around to those buttons during gameplay without moving my hands out of position, which tells me they’re not meant for gameplay (they’re also far enough out of the way to prevent accidentally pressing it).
I am hoping Nintendo wants to meet a milestone of units made before announcing before in order to defeat scalpers, but I think that might be to much to ask. This might be the worst of them all. What might be announced as a $400 system will be $1k for a year.

A lot of these small companies are taking ‘pre-orders’ to bring in the revenue early to put their products into manufacture when the Switch 2 is released. It doesn’t necessarily mean their ‘product’ in the picture will look anything like the finished product.

Was really easy to mod and put in a WiiU dpad on the Switch. Feels like it came from factory.

Been thinking the same think, maybe they'll have some sort of wireless tech in the dock that allows casting from the Switch 2 to the dock.

There are already final dvt units in hands of developers. It doesn’t take much from dbrand to quickly scan it if they know correct people.

Its just a wrong time to do a marking Strategy since it's just telling everyone Buying a switch as a gift for Christmas. Oh, you're gonna have to do this again next year since Nintendo's gonna launch a brand new switch in 2025.
To me Nintendo has been beating around the bush with the switch 2 and D brand is trying to force them to release something about it.
While a beefed up more powerful switch 2 is exactly what i want, will it appeal to the casuals and mum and dads buying for their kids if in their mind it is exactly the same as the old switch.
