Sadly, they showed very little that I actually cared about, and some of what looked interesting didn't really have gameplay.
Even fromsoft is not immune to milking a cash cow apparently
Looks like Sony bought them already and we just don't know about it.
What the hell are you talking about? Are you expecting them to make bigass RPG every single year?
Dude they’ve been one trick pony for over a decade. 😂 Design wise they’re creatively bankrupt. Just look at what they did to AC. 😒
@@OtakuUnderground92 you're not wrong but they've always done what they wanted. AC never sold well but they did it anyway. Now it looks they've just become an elden Ring studio
The Vitura Fighter event was at midnight btw right after the game awards
Imagine silksong, hl3, and bloodborne being in one presentation.
During the pre-show we got a new 2D Ninja Gaiden! Looks like it was inspired by The Messenger because it's a metroidvania!
The Messenger was inspired by the NES Ninja Gaiden games. So, this new Ninja Gaiden game is going back to those old NES games.
Astro Bot winning was a pleasant surprise. Good announcements overall. Geoff definitely improved this years show
Also did we get anything on Wolverine or Blade? Nothing, also it appears that Death stranding 2 and Sinking City 2 might be slight delayed!
Who else watched along last night with Dreamcast guy that was a good stream
Yuk
The C button on Switch 2 stand for current; every time it is press it shock Miyamoto.
I thought the Game Awards was a solid collection of advertisements interrupted occasionally by commercials.
People giving it a B need to rethink their life. That was the best TGA ever! So many banger games announced.
The muppets were genuinely really funny and the best part of the show. Jon didn't even mention them? 🤷♀️
I'm pleasantly surprised the awards went well. Still can't watch three things. They just feel so cringey but I'm happy everyone else is happy.
Stoked for okami. Still have to play the first game but I'll get to it someday.
The sad part of these muck ups is that the triggers appear to be digital again... 😢
Okami was my write-in for the Capcom player survey they did a while back!! I am so happy! gonna replay the original and Okamiden :-)
Statler & Waldorf were the best part of the show lol
I was hoping for a new bioshock game! But i can always enjoy the classics.
Judas is coming next year from the guy who was the lead for Bioshock
@PokeBallerLuke Looking forward to hearing more on Spawnwave!
I feel that’s the best show I’ve seen in a long time. It actually felt like a celebration of games.
I don't know if I can get behind nightmare Pac-Man
Mafia & Sonic were definitely the highlights for me
But what even is that Sonic racing thing. Like really, again Sega?
I’m so glad that Justice was done and AstroBot won GOTY as he was the reason I’ve got a PS5.
It would be amazing to see Ninija Ryukenden 4 (8bit) with original dev's behind it. Ninija Ryukenden 3 for NES was the best of it all. :)
Can you imagine the Switch 2 using Huawai Near Link technology 😅??
The blue bot won it all at the end and I'm genuinely happy, that little guy beat out all those tough competitions whether you think it's deserved or not doesn't matter, high Metacritic score, critics and fans loved it and sold relatively well for an exclusive and they are still releasing new content for it, also the winner's speech at the was great paying nod to Super Mario and platforms games.
Wasn’t even a competition for me the blue bot head and shoulders above everything else.
By the way: With Ubisoft struggling right now, could that be one reason why Beyond Good & Evil 2 seems to be abandoned?
I’m probably the only person excited for the Sonic racing game. I have been waiting years for a new one!
It's hard to imagine a better show, to be honest. I'd give it an A.
I don’t even know the game awards happened. At least there is a new mafia game coming. That’s neat.
Say what you want about the show, but this year's Game Awards were awesome, everyone gave crap to Keighley (fair criticism is needed yes), but he delivered, and I'll always respect and appreciate the fact that at least for one night a year, videogames have the spotlight in the entertainment world, is also nice seeing people that two days ago were like "I WILL NOT BE WATCHING THE GAME AWARDS THEY SUCK" but now "oh what a great show cool stuff" hypocrites hahaha
Can’t wait for the naughty dog game ❤️🔥
Honestly my favorite gane awards so far
He probably working on the next devil may cry too
This was one of the better game awards. Big W.
