Jeff gets a lot of hate and i don't understand it, the dude clearly has a lot of skill. his skill set may be a bit hyperfocused on a specific thing (crazy flip tricks down stairsets) but that is why he is doing stuff no one else does or even tries.
I mean there is nothing wrong with being top of line recreational skater. Sometimes your heart has to be fully with skateboarding for things to work out like vlogging or whatever. Also that is easier said than done of course.

Also skateboarding is pretty niche, it almost went mainstream around 2002, the same time as Jackass and my city even had like a few skate shops. Now there is nothing. A lot were casuals and eventually quit. I bet a good portion also quit because of falling off the board and getting sick of it, or just growing out of it and doing other stuff. Even within skaters there are groups. Like casual skaters. Skaters that like to skate around and not doing tricks per se. And also those that just like watching skateboarding.

Jeff is the perfect example he made, he can do super hard tricks every time but can’t do any of them “well” in todays standards. It’s sucks for him that skateboarding now is so much more about style and personality cus if he had at least 1 of the 2 he wouldn’t have to work a day job. I will say i changed my mind about not liking Jeff in this Mike's video. Its crazy that i learn more about Jeff here than in any other channel and interviews that i have seen that Jeff was in. Because of how he looks and how he talks, everyone assumes he is a bummer and problematic guy to be around with. Those Bryan Arnett, Lamont Holt & Braille interviews does not help improve how people would feel and look at Jeff at all. Seriously. But this one seriously did for me!
