Shark floors are fine because it benefits some characters, but not to the point where it significantly alters their weaknesses or detracts from the general flow of the game. Brinstar is great as a counterpick, as is Skyloft and similar static stages with semisolid floors.

The person on the winner's side hasn't lost at all while the person on the loser's side lost once, so the person on the winner's side only has to beat the loser in one set while the person on the loser's side has to beat the winner in two. When the person on the loser's side beats the one on the winner's side [in the first set of grand finals, obviously], it's called a reset and they have to play another set.
I don't know why, but I feel like these announcers are biased. They aren't biased that much, but I feel like they;re more critical against Awestin. I could be wrong, I am pretty stupid with commentary.
